Does anyone have a list of NEW things for 09? Im looking to pick up a G8GT but am trying to decide if i should wait until the 09s come out.


Just looking for some insight on the new features the 09 will have that the 08 doesnt.

Besides the GXP, it looks like two new color optons (silver and a different blue) and XM radio. There is some debate on bluetooth a rear seat DVD offered late in '09 (DVD could just be a rumor). One good reason to buy now would be to take advantage of the $1000 GM Loyalty rebate that is supposed to run until the end of May I believe. That is what I am doing as the XM is not a big deal to me.

there are actually 4 new colors, a darker (sport) red, a pacific slate, a blue, and a silver. XM is coming standard. Other then that, not much else. If you can find an '08 with the options you want (and aren't holding out for a GXP) just get one now. No use twiddling your thumbs for a whole summer while you wait for an '09 to show up just for XM.

I am pretty sure Bluetooth is being offered. It is on the spec sheets my dealer sent me to allow for handsfree calling. The data (again according to the data sheets) had been uploaded as of 4/15/08 so I am assuming it's a GO for Bluetooth.

I don't know if you can get an 08 GT anymore. I ordered mine in March and am still waiting for it. By the time it gets here...maybe 09 :-(

there are plenty of gt 08's still around... the dealer near me has 3...

Ya, my local dealer has a couple coming in soon. I drove a v6 so i could get a feel for the car and it was nice. Cant wait to drive a GT.

For some reason i thought they had some more options coming in 09...
XM is nice but dont think i will wait just for that. I really wish that nice screen had NAV. :(

I'm waiting for the car to be offered in better colors. I also hope the gauge cluster is redesigned to better resemble what the Aussies enjoy instead of the goofy looking numbers and cheap black plastic background.
