: SS-V Wing Spoiler or G8 Lip Spoiler?
MPower 03-24-2007, 02:44 PM First post and a real question. When I first saw the G8 and SS-V, I much preferred the G8's design. But after viewing a lot of SS-V articles in the hopes of discovering more information on this new car, I have grown to really like that SS-V wing. So main question: what do you prefer? (included a poll for fun)
Secondly, does anyone think that they could photoshop an SS-V wing onto the rear of a G8? I think it would be really interesting to see what it would look like.
immortal 03-24-2007, 03:39 PM I voted no spoiler.
These cars don't need the downforce, Im more for function over form.
veritasatis 03-25-2007, 03:23 PM It was a tough decision between a lip spoiler and no spolier. Either way would be acceptable, as long as it is NOT the big SS-V wing.
nixapatfan 03-27-2007, 12:54 PM Lip spoiler. The SS-V wing is just way too big.
ToMiT@ 03-27-2007, 02:55 PM Lip for me.
carsuperfreak 03-27-2007, 09:04 PM Purely an image thing I suppose - the rear wing definitly demands attention. I like the way it looks, which is why I voted for it, but thinking through it a second time, attention is not what me (or my driving record :turbonaughtdy_1: ) needs
mikmak 04-10-2007, 04:44 AM I like the Senator lip spoiler. Very tidy even though I like the boot on the VEs sans wing.
chiefpontiac 04-10-2007, 07:59 AM Lip spoiler for me. As long as they don't produce a pedestrian version and allow the lip spoiler as an option (see lowly GP with GT and GTP looks)

agreed. I feel like it diminishes on a car line when you can get the base versio nwit all the appearance of the performance version (ie neon with srt facias, caddys with the V- grilles, etc)
I think Chrysler did a very tidy job with the small accents on the SRT8 line (cherokee, 300/magnum/charger)
johnh 04-13-2007, 10:06 AM I wanna go big....no wimpy spoiler for me.

Mike P 08-18-2007, 07:55 AM Great picture of the 2 styles side by side! Nice taste in color as my G8 will be black too!
ToneyTone 08-19-2007, 03:11 PM You have to go for the big wing
Thanks for the pics CHI. As i stated before the ss wing is the route to go. Besides if the regular G8 looks the same as the GT, then the ss wing will set your car apart from the basic G8.
Cool_Hand_Luke 08-20-2007, 06:26 AM I'd like to wait and see what other optionhs come available.

Hey CHI, is that the variable exhaust system on 07 that gives you quiet and loud notes with the flick of a switch ? What does that cost in the UK ?
immortal 08-22-2007, 12:31 AM ^ OMG lol!! forum registration should have tighter measures to insure spam bots don't make it in.

It is tighter - its much tighter than the GTO forum. I even change the 'logic questions' every so often. This site gets much more, I'm not even sure its a bot.
