Hey all! Did'nt see a just Arizona spotted thread, so if there is one my bad! So figured I would start one so I didnt always have to look in the "Spotted Thread" since that is for everywhere!
Anyway.... I spotted a MGM GT last night I think it was around 4 or 5 . Guy driving, saw me too. Phoenix, Greenway Parkway.

Spotted a Liquid Red GT outside of It's A Dog's World School of Grooming & the U.S. Egg yesterday morning parked. On Greenway Parkway (phoenix). It was there for a while, i noticed it first at like 9:15. Anyone that's on the board?

Saw 4 G8s (2 GT + 2 GXP) in my parking lot at work in Tucson !

I know of a 3 GT's at Luke AFB, 1 dark red, 1 PBM, 1 Silver. Down here at DM in Tucson, there is my car (PBM), 1 LR, and 1 Silver. I have had my car since April 08 and for a long time, I had the only G8 GT at Luke. Glad to see our AZ numbers starting to creep up a little.

Looks like a Pacific Slate GT with the 19"s works right next to my new job! In Goodyear, N.Litchfield and Van Bueren St. I hope to find out who! And hope the notice mine one of these days, but its always there before me..

MGM Spotted on the I-10 today after 5pm, near exit 139. I was leaving Goodyear. It had the window down going the opposite way, guy driving. I have also seen you a couple days ago in the morning (both on other sides of the road), around the same spot!

I work at The Doggie Door (Dog grooming). Its on N. Litchfield and the corner of Van Bueren St. Just started working there like 2 or 3 weeks ago. I will be moving closer to there soon, probably in Goodyear!

I dont think so.. I didnt see a Fry's next to it! Its next to a Taco bell and connected to some other stores one being a Goodwill. As far as prices i think they are pretty good! The price depends on the size of the dog and if its just like a bath & brush (and nails and such) or if its a cut/shave. Do you know what she would want? And what kind they are?

Oh on the south side of Van Buren. Ya not to sure what she wants done but the dogs are multi poo's. I would say one is a medium size and the other is small.

I usually see this white GXP turning from Valencia north onto Kolb. Not sure if this is you jbak, but the guy driving has a full head of gray hair from the best I can tell, but the car is white and looks alot like yours.

It's because I am in stealth mode LOL. Actually a good reason you probably miss me is because I am in the turn lane to turn left from Kolb to go east down Valencia towards Houghten. spotted/waved a V6 G8 on Guadalupe today around 10:30 in the Gilbert area

I spotted a SBM GT yesterday on Valencia here in Tucson around 4:30ish. Not sure if the driver is a member of the board or not. I have seen this car a few times over the last 2 months.

I saw a white G8 on Valencia in the Walgreen's parking lot down by he airport. Judging by the wheels it looked like a V6 model. This was in Tucson.

I just picked up a GXP in East Phoenix. I've never seen one in town. Any others around? Mine was from an owner in Tucson.

I was not aware of a second White GXP here in Tucson. I know I had seen jbak from time to time on Kolb at the intersection of Kolb and Valencia, but it has been a few months since I have seen his car around there.

My white 2008 GT ends up in Tucson quite a bit as our daughter lives there. Nice 4 hour drive on I-10 with cruise set at slightly illegal. Even though the wife drives a barge (or maybe because), we always take the Pontiac.

I saw a white GXP this morning at about 0710 here in Tucson turning from Irvington south onto Kolb. Tried to give a wave, but between the tint on my windows and the tint on his, I don't think he saw me. Plus with my GT being black it seems to blend in with the traffic quite well.

I saw another GT at the NHRA Arizona Nationals last night as I was leaving. I am not sure if it was black or dark grey, but it had the 18" factory wheels on it. I saw it as we were both leaving the track for the night. It had a Peoria Pontiac sticker on the left of the trunk lid above the GT emblem as well as a Peoria Pontiac license plate holder.

I too saw a G8 GT at NHRA Arizona Nationals on 2/20, this one was white with New Mexico plates. Also saw a red G8 GT with black wheels yesterday by my work 52nd St and Broadway.

I'm from Tucson, but was headed through Chandler to Avondale earlier this afternoon and caught up to a Red GT. It was on stock 19s and lowered a tad. He gave me a wave, sharp lookin car.

I've been in that area a few times. When I go to work on the weekends, I usually go south Loop 303 to Indian School, then to Litchfield Rd, and then to I-10. I could take 303 and I-10 all the way to work, but I like to cruise and enjoy my time in my car.

I did a search of g8 gt owners and this site showed up. Really cool site, been checking it out for a while until I finally decided to register. Good looking car you got there, I was considering that color when I was shopping for my car. Gonna clean up my car real good since were gonna have a rain free weekend coming up. Oh cool. Yeah there isn't that much going on for the G8 crowd on here for Arizona but if you want to meet some guys you can check out AZDGForums.com. This is a local GTO board but there is a few G8's on there.

Thanks this was my first color choice as you never see this color. I had a LR GTO and didn't really want the same color again.

Have seen a stock Stryker blue GT parked by the bank next to Sam's club on Loop 303 and Bell, always in the same spot. From anyone here?

I am in Chandler near I10 and Chandler Blvd. I have seen a Maroon GT, a White Hot GT, a Black GT with black wheels, a Red GT with stock wheels, and a Red GT with HSV or Holden Wheels, as they were like the GXP spoke pattern, but were gunmetal, not chrome. All of these within a few miles of my house. Also have seen just about all other colors driving around the valley while I was working, but was in a toyota pickup, so no real responses to my waves, etc. I have only seen one GXP on the road, it was black. And one white GXP at my local dealership, but it is not there now.

Any of you guys intrested in some GXP mufflers? Give the car a little more sound with no drone. Shipping is a little pricy :( and would rather sell in state.

I saw a white GXP heading north on Kolb coming from the Kolb Valencia intersection at around 4:45 pm today. My gut feeling is it was JBak, but not 100% sure. BTW, this was down here in Tucson.

I saw a red GT parked in front of The Lodge restaurant/nightclub the other day. Still have not seen another GXP besides mine.

I have seen, quite a few times actually, a SRM GT with sport package 19"wheels going south on Loop 303 around 6:30a.m. Also seems to have there rims chromed, but it's still fairly dark at that time.

The ones I see are usually the same 5 or 6 as well here in Tucson. The one I see the most is Jbak's white GXP. I think he is the only board member on here that I have actually seen.

Yeah my car is black. I usually go through that intersection going to and from base. I am typically in that area between 445 and 5 pm during the week on my way home. In the morning I am usually cruising through there between 0700 and 0830, depending on the day and whether or not I had to do PT that morning.

Just noticed a grey G8 V6 sedan parked at a house off Surprise Farms Loop just east of the high school. I usually take this route to drop off my kid at preschool and then all of a sudden, bam, there it was. First V6 outside of a dealer's lot that I have seen.

I just saw a LR G8 here on Davis Monthan AFB. It had tinted windows and chromed wheels. I am not sure if it was stock wheels or not and looked to be a GT, but I didn't look at it long enough to see the tail lights.

Spotted MGM GT at 59th and Cactus this past Saturday. We were sitting at the intersection I’m heading east, he was heading west. Basically staring at each other, so I thought. Saw a black GT turning south on Cotton Lane from I-10 yesterday. Was at a red light and rolled my window down to see if he would notice, but I don't think he did. Would have followed him but had to go to work.

We get into Tuscon about once a month as our daughter lives there. Spend a few days there and don't see one G8. Until the last night. Pull into a restaurant on Broadway, and there's an orange G8. With Texas tags. So now there are two GTs in the lot, one with Texas tags and mine with a N. Mex. tag. Where do all you Tucson G8s hide out?

I live in the South East side of town, damn near right on the city limit. My house is about 4 miles or so from I-10. I saw an MGM GT on base today (I see this one quite often on base) but usually don't see to many. I think out of the 7 or 8 I have seen in Tucson, there are only 3 of us on this board.

Glad you liked it. It was taken not far from my house, about 190th ave and Bell Rd in a subdivision that never got finished because of the hit the housing boom took.

Saw another liquid red g8 going west on Bell Rd. passing Cotton Lane. Couldn't tell if it was v6 or v8, saw at the last second.

Yep, that was me. I live in East Mesa, but work from home, so I'm always on the road at unpredictable times. Mostly when I'm bored with work and need to go for a drive. I've never seen the (other) black one, but do need get my tails tinted since my car is all blacked out now.

The GXP was red and had a plate saying 'GRRR8 G8', spotted at santan 202 and I-10 taking the I-10 south exit from the westbound 202.
The GT was White and I think it was a 2009, spotted at men's wearhouse 20th st/camelback.

Spotted a white hot GT around Bell/Reems parked by the coffee shop on the northeast corner. I was taking my kids in for haircuts and noticed it, but it was gone by the time they were done.

Just saw a MGM GT on Rita Road in Tucson about 20 minutes ago (7:25 pm). It was headed West. I saw it as it passed by while out walking with the wife and kid.

Like to give a shout out to the black (PBM) G8 I saw Thursday, 5/13 on the I-10 with the Holden badges and the Hybrid emblem. That Hybrid emblem was an interesting touch. If you are here, please enlighten me on the "hybrid" emblem.

That's the place. My wife found it a few years back and we decided to take my older son there cause he used to HATE haircuts. Figured he would do better with all the movies or video games to keep him occupied while he got his haircut. Eventually he warmed up to it and now we don't have to give him a homemade haircut.:)

I'm a GXP owner and also live in the tucson are, about a month ago myself and about 4 other G8 owners met up at SIR for test and tune night. it was cool to finally meet up with other local g8 owners. It was a good time, maybe we can do it again i know they have another test and tune fri. and street legals on 6/25. let me know if anybody is up for it.

I would be up for meeting you guys. I don't own a helmet so I won't be making any runs, plus I think the wife would sh*t herself if I took the car down the track and something broke.

No i have a LR GXP and i usually do go up to tucson on the weekends. The other g8 that i met up with at SIR are also members of this board. I plan on being there tommorrow between 630-7. And i will also plan on being at the little anthonys car show sat. Maybe we can try to get as many g8's at SIR on 6/25 for street legal night.

There is also another test and tune next fri. 6/11. So post whatever day is good for everybody.

Would love to go, but I will be out of town :( I was planning on trying to go to the first test and tune in July, which is on the 9th. Phantom, you only need a helmet if you break into the 12's, I believe.

Spotted two G8's today, one was white, heading south down Wilmot, just past Broadway, and the other was LR turning off of 22nd between Wilmot and Craycroft. Didn't get a chance to wave to either as they were both turning when I saw them.

So what are "street legal" nights all about ? Racing for $$ ? I've been to lots of T&Ts but never a "street legal".

My understanding is if you can drive it on the street legally, then it can go down the track. The trailer queen cars are a no go. Also, I heard they do not do the water box for burnouts.

So it's like a test & tune with no slicks, no trailer cars and no water box ? That sounds kind of nice.

I will be there this Friday. Hopefully my last pass down the track without the kooks as they will be here this Friday. But I will not have a tune for them so not expecting more than a tenth or so. Will be there the 25th also.

Was at Laughlin last week and saw a couple of G8's while driving through Bullhead City, a LR for sale at the dealership there, had custom rims on it. Also one driving around. He didn't notice me cause I was in the minivan with the family. Couldn't tell the color of that one, sometimes my colorblindness gets the best of me. Also, spotted a gray V6 at Arribas on Sunday, tried to park next to him but parking lot was packed.

Saw a Black GT with Black Lipped 19s or 20s on it on Higley in Mesa. Gave him a wave but couldn't see if he saw me. Car looked nice...

I will definitely try to shoot for July 9th, i know desertg8 won't be going this Friday, we installed the headers last weekend. His car is quieter now! Which tune did you get?

VMS tune and running the Stage 2 TCM tune. It scared the ish out of me at first with the crazy shifting, even under 1/2 throttle it threw the car forward on upshifts! After a few days driving, though, it is much more tame and really feels very close to stock under light driving, but mash the peddle and . . . chirp! I am really happy with it!

I will not have my tune by the 9th. But I will be there. It still runs fairly good.

I guess Everyone in mesa has seen my blacked out g8 around north mesa area, sorry I never post. The tinted tails set off the look, with black 20's soon and audi lights it will be very clean looking.

Spotted a white G8 yesterday afternoon on Lehigh st. turning into Palo Verde Park. It was white, I waved, he waved back. Also spotted a red one around 7am heading north on Kolb near Irvington (the hotspot for spotting G8's), I waved as he went by.

I saw a MGM GT here on Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson on Monday. I don't think they are board members though. I have seen a couple of other silver GT's on base as well and there is a LR V-6 G8 that lives around the corner from me that I see from time to time. The only person who has ever waved is ssaiyan223.

I saw a LR G8 V6 at 43rd and Bell Sunday AM around 9:00, I see this one quite a bit.

And here's something to make you chuckle. I've been to Cali twice recently, the last time for a whole week....We drove a total of 1200 miles on that trip, and didn't see even one G8. But last week I saw two within about 5 miles of each other near Towac, CO. It's just over the 4 corners border, and it's not even really a town, just a Casino on the Rez mostly. Goofy!

A little east...we meet at Gallaghers Thursdays at 7. Some Gto's and G8's are there pretty much every week. Fun group!

83rd and Deer Valley - There is an unoffical car show there on Saturday afternoon/evening in the parking lot of the old Safeway. That is the only place I've seen a GXP on the road actually, I've met some cool folks there.

I saw 2 G8's on the way home tonight.

The first one was a black GXP on I-10 heading west between Rita Road and Kolb Ave. He was heading west, I was heading east. This was about 4:50pm

The second was a Striker Blue GT at the Rita Rd/Houghton Rd intersection at almost 5pm. It was heading south on and I was heading north.

2 sitings in one day is pretty good. I waved, but all of us had our windows up and dark tint so it was hard to tell if they waved back.

The Stryker car was mine.. Gunmetal wheels, right?

What's up gents... don't get on the board too often, but its nice to see the G8's keepin in touch. I've seen only a handful of G8's in Tucson, but I mainly stay in the Northwest. I've been to the Scottsdale Pavilions once. 5 G8's, all different colors and Hadad's mangacharged red GT was there. This has been over a year ago though. Cool show.... lotta nice rides.

Saw a G8 going north on the Loop 303, just south of Waddell, waved and he waved and nodded back. Don't exactly remember the color but I think he had a black hood with a red body (I think). Firehawk maybe? I haven't been seeing any G8's on the road lately so I wasn't expecting him.

Saw (by saw I mean heard driving by, then rubber necked around to see what was making that noise) a white hot G8 on 22nd yesterday afternoon around 2pm. Not sure if it was a GXP or GT.

22nd and what ? I had just changed oil at that time and was out hammering around on the east side (checking for filter leaks etc). Might have been me. I changed to Royal Purple and the oil temps seemed noticeably lower than with Mobil 1.

Saw a silver GT @ Swan and Fairmount this morning, just a little after 8am. I waved, but didn't see a response.

From the 101 off Frank Lloyd Wright to Via Linda about two weeks ago. We weren't racing (too much traffic) but did some scoots...What struck me most was how small the G8 is in comparison to some other cars on the road, like the Lexus ES350, yet it has a big car feel on the inside.

Made me appreciate what a special car the G8 really is...and so glad I bought it.

Btw, averaged 25 mpg last week on a Winslow trip. Went up there the back way via AZ87 and came back via the I40/I17 with a stop at Meteor Crater and Flagstaff.

Saw a nice looking Liquid Red GT heading east on Ray at Rural this morning at about 07:15. Rolled down my window and gave him a thumbs up as I passed by, but I don't think he acknowlegded in any way. Too bad, it was a great looking car!

Spotted a White Hot at the intersection of Van Bueren and Litchfeild (in Goodyear) yesterday I think it was around 3:30pm. No tint. Didnt see if it was a GXP or GT, just saw the black tails!

Saw a PBM GT at the Shell station at Wilmot and I-10. Car was much cleaner than my poor, filthy car! Bath tonight, rain or not!!!

Noticed a gray GT in the parking lot of Sam's Club off Bell/ Loop 303, drove by and waved and he waved back...cool. Also saw Liquid Red V6 in the Arrowhead Mall parking lot driving around. Both looked stock.

I had an dark grey GT park next to me at the new gym here on DM AFB in Tucson. I have seen this car before but I don't think they are an active member of the board. Looked completely stock, but we know how deceiving looks can be.

Yesterday spotted a orange GT on Olive Ave near 107th going East.
Tonight about 7pm spotted a White GT going North on the 10 near exit 154. Got a thumbsup from him :) and I waved back.

That may have been me, usually leave work between 5:30 and 6:30. I-10 and Ray in Chandler to Brown and 202 in Mesa.

I saw 2 G8's this morning on the way to work. The first one was a white GXP with a bald headed fella with a graying goat tee, and the second car was a gray GT. They both turned from Irvington left onto Kolb. This was at around 0705 this morning. I waved to both drivers, but niether waved back.

Spotted white GT parked by Best Buy on Bell/Grand today. It's been awhile since I seen any G8's out and about.

I saw a PBM GT this afternoon around 1555-1600 on Valencia. I believe it was ssaiyan. I was in the big black and yellow GMC truck, heading in the opposite direction.
