You can't order them. You need to line up a dealer with a tagging allowance and then wait for inventory to show up at gminventory.com. Once a unit is tagged it ranges 30-60 days for delivery. Right now we're in a model year changeover so delivery of '09's is probably early summer.

Not necessarily. The dealer I am working with has 4 more 08s on the way and the other area dealers are in the same situation. You just have to find a dealer that has what you want on the way.

No real changes to the 09, basically the same car. They are supposed to add XM radio and change the colors. Which includes dropping the orange, so you had better shop around the internet and find someone who has or is getting an orange 08.

There's no longer the Ignition Orange on the '09s so if you want that color you have to snag an '08.

yeah more creamsicle than copper....give us that showcar orange instead. althought the IO looks better in the sun than the shade.

I was better off shopping around. Most dealers have websites with pretty current inventory. I had to buy out of state, but it was worth it to get what I wanted.

I don't know. i originally went to my dealer in October, again in November, December, January, February, March and April. It's supposed to be here by the end of April (only a couple days). So it has been about 6 months. And about 3 months longer than the mid-January they thought it would be back in October. Suppose I could have shopped around a bit, but I like my dealer.

You need to visit different dealerships if available. I have a 09 on order, but I'm tired of waiting and have lined up a loaded Black on Black GT with sunroof, wait is about 2 weeks. Dealership said they have ordered it, but are not sure when it will come in. I'm testing a orange one out next week, and by then he should know about mine. That was the second dealership I visited this afternoon. Both were able to order/tag them, but have little idea when it will they will be in? I just think they don't want people showing up the day they get it off the truck and demanding to take ownership:rant: The first dealership was also able to locate a black GT, but no sunroof.

Yea I ordered a black on black GT with sunroof, premium and sport packages. I'm probably going to ride over to the dealership today and see if they have any updates. They said they've been getting them in approximately 4 weeks from the time of ordering for other customers...guess I'll have to wait and see.

I note that you're in the Carolinas. I also am in the Carolinas (North). I am getting a bit frustrated with this. I just came from the dealership and they told me it'd be another month or more because of a problem with the ship(?) WTF? I'm seeing guys getting exactly what I ordered in places just as far east of the port of entry as I am. Worse, these dealerships seem to have enough of them to let people test drive them (and, apparently, abuse them, as in some YouTube stuff I've seen). I suspect they've sold mine to someone else - probably more than once.
