Wanted to get GT, but being married man, and already have too much toy(I have 07 Mazda RX-8, and 00 Ducati 748), I had to settle for V6(which in my opinion, not bad engin at all. Car I traded for G8 was 05 CT-S with 3.6 VVT, and I never thought it was under powered or anything like that..)

I rally have no plans for it. May be some simple stuff - quad tail pipe like GT, leather steering wheel/knob, better speaker, and small sub.
I also like to install nav in dash using JHP's GPS trim kit.

But who knowz? I may do alot more(I usualy always say I'll leave the car alone the way it is, but I never do leave it alone..)

One of the reason I dicided against GT(or GXP for that matter) was that there aren't many mods available. I figured if there aren't many expensive aftermarket parts available, then I can't spend money on it.

BUT - I keep thinking that new camaro V6 uses same engine(different tune i'm sure, however), and I saw this video of 2010 V6 camaro with Corsa exhaust, and I can't help but to think it sounds like Nissan's VQ35DE.

Is there any aftermarket exhaust available for 3.6?

Lots of smaller things available for this, but take note, the Direct Injection 3.6L is VERY different than the regular 3.6L --albeit with the same basic core--in the G8 and others. Not something that can be converted or re-tuned to match, either, but there's always custom tune potential, cold air intakes, exhaust, etc. for the 3.6L G8.

Congrats, looks great. Many of us have had the steering shake or wobble. Search for it and you will find several threads. Mine was doing the same thing between 55 and 60 you could feel it and actually see the steering wheel shake. Don't get down about it, for many of us it has been fixable. Mine was a two step process, first my G8 had sat on the lot for a long time. It was a left over 2008 that I just purchased last June. Sitting so long flat spotted the tires which is a common problem with the RSAs. Mine came with 58 miles on it so dealer asked me to get it to 500 before looking further (claims this is GM service policy when they expect it is just the tires. I was skeptical but really didn't have much bargaining room). Anyway just driving it did make it better and I would say 70% of the shake went away. After the 500 was up went back to the dealer and they checked the balance and alignment and all was ok. They then sent it for a road force balance. Doing this found 1 tire that was out of spec and had to be replaced. Since the road force balance and the tire replacement the ride is very smooth and I enjoy the car more each day. Be patient, read the other threads to see how others solved the problem and work with your dealer in a proactive manner to get it fixed because it can be.

Just picked up mine (Silver Mettalic) last week. Like it so far -- only 65 miles -- too bad it will snow again so it will stay parked until it is dry again.

Off topic, any issues with the RX8? I have two friends that have those cars and have gone through multiple rotary engines. I dont think I would ever touch one of those cars because of their stories.
