I received my intake today.
All the parts were in good condition. Everything was packed well. Fedex was a little slow on shipping as my intake went to Kansas before Indianapolis.
There were installation instructions inserted in the K&N filter box. However they didn't work for me as I insisted on attempting to install my MAF backwards. :nono: I've installed aftermarket intakes before too, so, after talking to Mike and realizing my attempt at idiocy, I reversed it and it went on with no problem.
I had a couple WOT runs to 60, and it feels very strong. Very loud at WOT, however, at easy cruise you can't tell it's there.
As soon as I get my exhaust mod done, I have an appointment with Automotive Specialties in Noblesville, IN for my dyno runs.
During my installation problems I called New Era and the phone was answered promptly.
Thanks Mike.
