I received my axelbacks today. I had them installed in 20 minutes (did it on my lunch hour). The quality is fantastic as well as everything about the purchase. The sound is phenomenal!

I really had been missing my 06 GTO. The GTO had a very cool sound. Very subtle but mean. My new G8 GT axlebacks are even better; they have exceeded my expectations and I am totally thrilled.

The H pipe doesn't change the sound that much. It's very subtle imo. The axlebacks sound very good by themselves.

What's entailed on the install? Special equipment? Lift? ...and I shouldn't be allowed to touch powertools. Am I screwed if I wanted to get axlebacks and install them myself?

Very simple install. All that's need is ramps or jack stands, and a socket wrench (with socket LOL).

Nobody's tested it yet, but seeing how restrictive the stock mufflers are I'd say they'll uncork it a little to the tune of 4-5hp. It will definitely be helpful as you get more mods though.

i put maganflows back there and I think they advertise 10-15 hp.
