: help me out guys
TaderzNgravy 04-24-2008, 07:52 PM Dealer messed up and we signed papers for the g8 and i didnt get my 1000 in loyalty. So now i get 1000 in funny money to spend on the car.
Heres my question, which should i go with
3" inch H pipe catback true duals
or
Stolen Fox H pipe, Custom Axle Backs(local muff shop), Cold Air intake, and tint. (if i go a little over the limit hell with it itll come out of pocket :p
tell me what ya think, later :gears:
Slizzo 04-24-2008, 07:59 PM I voted choice 2. But Option 1 would be valid if you bumped the exhaust down to a 2.5" unit. From what I've heard 3.0" is much too noisy for most tastes.
locrzng888 04-25-2008, 03:22 PM Hey, it least you get some money, the first ones to purchase the cars in March like I did lost out on the loyalty money. I called my dealer and bitched that I didn't get it and he told me it started in April. Tint, cai and exhaust sounds good to me.

Me too. I received a form in the mail last week too to rub it in.
SRG963 04-25-2008, 05:13 PM I vote option 3. Magnaflow catback, Rotofab CAI, and 5% tint.
Then save up and get a tuned ECM from VMS.
TaderzNgravy 04-25-2008, 05:24 PM the catback will come when the turbos come, i think ive decided on a H pipe axle backs, cai, and tune, its summertime and im a windows down kinda guy so tint can wait lol
G8 612 05-01-2008, 04:30 PM did all dealerships have that. I purchased my g8 gt on April 8. The only thing is that my Bonneville is in my wifes name. I also owned one in 1998

Describe "funny money". :sneaky: If it's a check refunded for the blunder, then do the RotoFab intake & a tune. If you have an "expense account" that you've already got in mind for mods, then pop for a cat-back.
G8 612 05-04-2008, 08:56 AM I called my bealership and they said that there was only a rebate for May 1 - May 6 then I told him to look in April and I will be recieving my 1000 on wednesday :boink:
l3gofr3ak 05-05-2008, 12:06 AM i got $1000 off in march.
my dealer told me that if you or someone in your household DIDNT own a GM vehicle and can show proff of it being the same house hold, then it was $1000 off of purchse and $500 for lease in the month of March.. and it is in all my paperwork and he told me about it, i didnt even have to ask. i owned a 98 ford mustang and now i got the G8 on march 28th.
it sucks that your dealerships didnt tell you all about that..
Dayzed50 05-07-2008, 02:59 AM spend $350 of it and send your PCM out to vector and get a new tune, it's good for around 35hp and up to 3mpg, gonna be the best bang for your buck by far. then get a catback and 5% tint. sweet setup
DragoonRaven 05-07-2008, 03:04 AM i got $1000 off in march.

AHA! I was wondering why they needed the registration for my Mustang.
haddadmotorsports 05-07-2008, 02:29 PM Where do we put in our vote for a magnacharger. :)
Thanks

Rob Moser 05-07-2008, 02:38 PM The March offer was a "conquest offer" and was only valid in certain states. Know it was available in FLORIDA and CALIF - not sure about others. Believe it also carried over into April. I used the "Loyalty and Supplier discounts" Was unable to also use GM dollars. GM dollars aren't usable with Supplier and Employee discounts, according to FL dealer.
