LOL...I rarely ever work Saturdays unless I am really needed at work. For the past 3-4 months, I have worked every Saturday in which Cars and Coffee is held. LOL

John!!

May I remind you that the day has 24 hours?? And can I suggest a time that has two digits in it? LOL :wink2:

Yeah, my buddy Chip made it, pretty bad ass siggy, isn't it? :) We can save you a spot, Chip. The concensus was for Cars and Coffee on the 26th. You will have to flame Brian, Shawn, Jason, Matt, uhhh, pretty much everyone who said yes to the 26th. My suggestion for you: Just roll in from the clubs. :)

Sorry I could not make it this morning, I was about 50 miles away. Will be at the Laps for Charity though. I think I will be the only G8 out in the field.

Good to see everyone again. OldSoldier and I are trying to organize a drive for our next meet. We were thinking an afternoon drive followed by dinner/drinks. Stay tuned, and thanks for coming to our second DFW G8 club meet!

FYI for those showing up to future C&C events. My friend at Plano PD sent this ""FYI, several people are posting YouTube videos of cars burning out and spinning around on the service road to Dallas Tollway leaving the car show. Might want to spread the word that we are going to to be around at the next one and everyone might want to keep things in check. I think we're going to be posting on your forums too to give everyone a heads up."

That's pretty funny! I would never even dream of doing a burnout leaving the show - our little G8 trying to do a burnout with those ridiculously overpowered beasts sitting there watching would be bad. I'd say we're faster than 90% to 95% of other cars on the road but likely in the slowest 5% to 10% at that show.

Jonathan, keep me posted about that RPM thing. Looks like the Test n Tune at the 1/4 mile track in Crandall is a no-go. The track didn't answer its phone, but I'll try again later.

Sorry I didn't make it back around to introduce myself. I was there early in the Black G8, but started talking to the guy in the Camaro with the 2300 and then started looking at cars.

I don't think Dallas Raceway answers phone calls or emails. If you guys are planning something, check out their calendar.

Plano PD was actually there early on. They were sitting in the median area near the u-turn at Spring Creek. I figured they got someone leaving because they weren't there when I left.

Good to see all you guys again.

Boss,

It was good you were there. We needed someone with a blower to show the world! I think most of the rest of us were stock.

As for your mods in your sig - got anything from JC Whitney?

No, I get all my perfomance parts from Pep Boys. Neon lights are next on my list.

Brian and Matt, they popped a guy in a Lexus (and not an IS-F) right as I was leaving C&C on Saturday. The kid at the exit warned me that one of Plano's finest was about 1/8th of a mile down the road, so I grannied it out of the lot, when low and behold Mr. Lexus blew by me at about 70mph, maybe 80. So fast that the officer actually turned his sirens on. BUSTED.... This was right before the guy in the Ford GT TT (1000 hp) hit about 120 on the service road.

I had a thought about that stretch of road. It would be cool if the Plano PD could corden off the road for the event. :)
