Ok everyone, our G8 meet is this Saturday. Just want to post all of the details.

All G8s in Southern California are invited. We wanted to meet at a centralized location for Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego and chose the Irvine Spectrum.

The Irvine Spectrum is located at:
115 Fortune Dr, Irvine, CA 92618 (Between the 405 and 5 freeways)

We are meeting at 10:00am in the south parking lot near the Target. (See Map) Please park your cars next to each other, each facing the same way.

We are then planning on going on a cruise. We are hopefully leaving the Irvine Spectrum around 10:30-10:45am. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH GAS PRIOR TO US LEAVING!

We will be driving to the In & Out in Huntington Beach via Pacific Coast Highway.

Here are the driving directions (make sure you print out a copy in case you happen to get lost):

From the Irvine Spectrum take the 405 Freeway North for 0.8 miles.
Take exit 2 to merge onto 133 Freeway toward Laguna Beach.
Travel on 133/Laguna Canyon for 8.9 miles.
Turn right on Pacific Coast Highway.
Travel North on PCH for 15.3 miles.
Turn right on Main Street (Downtown/Pier).
Take Main Street for 3.1 miles.
Turn Left on Beach Blvd and travel for 0.5 miles.
In & Out is located on the Right hand side before you hit Talbert Ave.
Park between the In & Out and Wal-Mart.

It is a total of 28 miles.

We should get there around 11:30 to 11:45am. Here we can hangout, grab a bite to eat, etc. Those who can't make it to the Irvine Spectrum can meet us here. People can hang out as long as they would like.

Make sure your cars is washed and bring a camera. Feel free to bring along family, and/or friends. It should be a really fun time. It will be nice to see so many G8s in one location.

Make sure you also get cell phone numbers from a couple of people there in case your car breaks down, gets in an accident, gets lost, or pulled over. (All things we hope will not happen.) Please -- no recklessness.

A heads up on the Irvine "Cars & Coffee" meet noted in the first post for earlier in the morning - It's NOT on for this Saturday, 9/26. There's a Mazdafest going on in the lot this Saturday. (I went to C&C last Saturday and they handed out a flyer stating no event this week)

Kris, Julian and Rob are going to meet in Mira Mesa, I think. Then meet up with me in Carlsbad. Then, we'll meet and pick up Hunter in San Clemente.

Did you make any "converts"? LOL I had some business I had to take car of in the AM and couldn't make the cruise but around 2 PM I was near the Mazda building and checked out the show. There were some really cool old Mazdas there. Those boys sure love turbos as it seemed like 2/3 of the cars had them.

Nah I didnt try to convert anyone.... but the car got a LOT of looks. I was sitting in that big lot where they were staging the cars in long lines and lots of people were walking by and checking the G8 out.
And the turbos... oh yeah.. they love em.

Yes, 15 in Irvine, 13 made the cruise. And oddly, I was the only Panther Black in the group. White was represented really well. :)

Yea, we did not represent the colors very well, 1 PB, 2 MGM, 2 Striker Blues, 1 Stealth Blue, 1 LR, 1 MSM and a gazillion WHs
