Alright, couldn't find a set of rail covers that would work, so, bought a pint of color matched brilliant red and taped it off and painted it. See what you think. I picked up a little orange glow from the sun, the paint actually matches very well. Hope this will give you other guys an idea on the cowl. Will have my spectre 90 degree Monday or Tuesday to finish the CAI. Check out my 95 gmc

Looks sharp! Nice job painting, I am sure that was not easy masking everything off! Cool air filter setup too, must sound better as well?

Its definetly louder, when I finish the CAI it will be much louder, hopefully run better. I need to close off the filter when the job is complete. Simular to rota lab, mine will be aluminum with a seal on top, should have it finished mid week.

I ditched mine, with my way of thinking it'll help keep the engine cooler. But who knows, arguments on both spectrum's there.

Thanks, when I get the intake done in all polished tubing, it should look much better, I'm going to do some work on a rediator cover also. Probably in aluminum, looks kinda funky.

What intake did you throw in there?

I dont think ive seen that posted on the forums. You used the stock box but changed the filter.

That box will be gone Tuesday, I'm just waiting on the 90 degree polished tubing to finish the job. I was just experimenting to see where I can place the cone filter. I'll post Tuesday if the tubing gets here on time. I need to tap the tube that I get for the positive crank case vent. The rest should be pretty easy. The Cai will be a spectre performance product, I'm doing the mock up for them. I still need to build the enclosure to seal off the filter. Can't do that till I get it finished. I think its gonna look pretty sweet and perform as well.

I ditched my factory cover day one after purchasing my Gt. Now that i see that new type, i want them! Where did you get the air kit from, that looks sweet too!
