: Has ANYONE been able to access the antenna leadin for the G8 Radio?

I have been wanting to install my XM RoadyXT. I am not an audiophile and do not want to use either the front or back AUX inputs for this installation. I do not want to keep plugging and unplugging the RoadyXT all the time. I want to use my XM FM modulator that ties directly into the antenna leadin.

But for the life of me I can not figure out how to get the dash panels off. The bottom panel (below the steering column) has to clips near the firewall, but the ECM connector (ODB?) seems to be holding it in. I can see what appears to be one clip on the lower dash panel, but no matter how I pull on it, the panel does not release.

I have read here that once these panels are removed I can then slide the panel next to the radio down to gain access to the antenna leadin.

I've had poor results using BestBuy and Circuit City and I feel I can do a better job myself. I'll admit it I'm too cheap to pay someone $300 for a custom installation, just for them to get to the antenna leadin. That and I do not trust the work of most the audio shops in the area.

I don't need pics, but just some directions from someone who has done this would be nice.

Thanks
