I went to the NY Auto Show at the end of Press Day and went to the
Pontiac booth. The G8 was on a revolving stand with a 2 foot plexi
all around it, I waited till there was no one at the booth and went over and
sat in the front and back seats. The seats are very nice supportive and there is
pleanty of room in the back. The steering wheel is sweet with a clear view
of the console , very good seating postion (6'1") the dash loks to be leather
and the hand brake is on the side of the driver.
I was in the car for about 5 min when the GM product display manager
arrived and I had leave.
Three of my friends with me who various cars, AMG, Noble ,Ferrari agreed
that the G8 would make a nice daily driver!!
Can't wait to drive it.

I was at my local Chevy dealer today and I had a seat in a new Ignition Lumina SS (Commodore VE SS), my was it awesome. The dash in this one wasn't leather though, meaning that it's either only for the G8 or that it was for display purposes.

Anyhow, it's a fantastic car, I had my camera with me but I got side tracked, I might head over there tomorrow and grab some pics.

Something else I would like to mention, while it was standing right in front of me the vehicle was smaller then I imagined it to be. They could of made a coupe out of it by easily shortening it a bit and scrapping off two doors.
