So I installed a Roto-Fab intake, took me about 1.5hrs taking my time to make sure everything was perfect. The quality looks good but it would have looked better under the hood if they could have designed it without so many hose clamps. The butt dyno says it added a little power but nothing crazy.
The thing that surprised me and made me smile was the sound. It sounds normal when driving normal, but the first time I went WOT is sounded like a beast. The engine screaming power. Awesome. I'm happy. Between that, my new exhaust, and tune I just added this afternoon, this thing is a monster.

yeah, brad, i'm looking into a similar set-up as you with the cortex, roto, & corsa/solo...seems like your satisfied with the results! can't wait to pull the trigger on mine...

I already have MagnaFlow Exhaust and love the fact I make slight vibrations in the apartment windows when I start up. Hehe. I ordered the Roto-Fab with the Vector ECM/TCM tune so hopefully it livens Phoenix up!

You should hear the sound it makes at WOT with axlebacks and a Magnacharger installed :)

so you could still hear the difference with your exhaust?
I was happy when I installed my intake for the noise, then when I did exhaust I always wondered if I would have noticed the sound difference

Old thread resurrected here. I've gotten a Magnaflow catback since I started this thread and yep, sounds even better now. Now if I only had the money for some forced induction...

CONGRATS! I love the way mine sounds with my twin Magnaflows and the ROTO.
I also think my X-pipe give it a deeper sound...but that could just be me!
