This is the Hose Mod. I posted about a few weeks ago, Finally finished with the help of my Grandson.
Drain a gallon of antifreeze, slide hose clamps back and cut the hoses at the beginning of the Z bends, use tie wraps to hold hoses in place.
Much cleaner looking I think.

Where is the $20 you ask, good clamp pliers makes it a whole bunch easier.

He has pretty hair. lol...

Hope the heat doesn't effect the brake fluid too much... Would SUCK big time !

Brake fluid handles heat pretty well, think about how hot a caliper gets during hard braking, discs glowing red hot on sport car tracks too.
Don't think a heater hose close buy will bother it.

right.. so now it getting heat from both ends.. just a thought was all....
If any issues please post.. if not something I'd try...

Still learning about posting pictures, this should be better.

Used temp gun to check brake line temps after 20 minute drive, almost no transfer, most things on fender well pick up far more heat from exhaust manifolds than 170 degree heater hoses.
I know this Mod is not for everyone, but it gets those darn hoses off the top of the engine without buying new hoses.
