Is the section of the 16795 with the "X" that bolts to the cat flanges and ends at the first slip joint available individually?

The center section from 16795 isn't available alone. You can get part # 10791 (http://www.magnaflowplus.com/ShowItem/100943%20Magnaflow%20Performance%20Exhaust%20Item. aspx) and have a muffler shop modify your system.
