Had mine updated today, can't tell any difference in the programming. I talked to the tech, he only saw a couple of slight changes. He didn't think it would help it shift any better and it didn't. I don't know if it needs to learn or what. Little disappointed. Oh, well maybe someone in my area will get the the software and be able to tune it in the future.

I think it's been posted elsewhere, but the TSB is not to improve shifting - it has to do with scan tool usage compatibility (something like that).

Yep, I think you are right. Still disappointed that they don't fix it. Some of the guys said it helped theirs, I had my doubts.

This is a mental issue - helps some cars because owners think it did, and no help to others because owners think it didn't - STILL CONFUSED??? I KNOW I AM.

My 08150 was done today. Best part was at my local IA dealer. First G8 he's seen so the ego trip was worth the entire experience. Also- the $8.00 oil change ( my filter and mobil 1)

They just got to tag their first g8 on May 1. Think they would have liked it even better when I tweaked it with ECM and exhaust later in the day.
