The clues: there is no date for the article, however the road test ion teh side bar are all 2005 and 2006 models, and the banner at the top, get one of the last 3000 2006 GTO's. That would mean each Pontiac dealer still has 1 1/2 GTOs on the lot. This article I am sure came out a year or more prior just when Motor Trend announced Zeta going forward at the same time (or following ) the corporate announcement that Zeta was dead. All of this transpired prior to the release to the public of the current Commodore on which the G8 is based. I would not be surprised if it was prior to teh show intro of teh Camaro hardtop. And there has been no official word as to whether the GTO will return - as a coupe version of the G8 or as a rebadged Camaro.
