I personally wouldnt get a G8 stock. i mean for the extra you get so much more.

Plus that stock car is the same price as what i payed for mine so ...

I initially thought that the Premium pkg was gonna be a deal breaker for me.
Coming out of a BMW, I had gotten very used to leather and heated seats.
That being said, when I drove the first G8 GT I looked at, it had the cloth seat.
I guess I had the misconception that the cloth was going to be what I was familiar with from GM. My dad has a 2003 Buick Century, and it has that typical GM quasi-velor, not-so-durable, rental car fabric.
Being that I am a GTO owner as well, I knew that I should not expect the same low buck stuff from the boys from Oz. Fortunately, i was right. My first experience with the cloth in the G8 was very positive. It's attractive, grippy and seems 10x more durable than GMNA stuff.
So, in the end, I decided that I could fore go the leather and save myself $1500 bucks in the process.
It has only been less than 24 hours, but so far, i have no regrets for my decision.

I am not a leather fan. My GTi is cloth with heated seats which I love. I know I can always install heated pads if I don't go with leather for 1/4 of the price of the premium package.

If these were the seats in the premium package, It would have been a no brainer. But they weren't. And now I am trying to find these seats to put in my car or looking into getting mine altered to look like this.
