Medium Tint

Looks awesome. What level tint is that? 20?

Dropped mine off this morning and decided to get 35 all around. Our legal limit is 50, so I'm pressing my luck, but 50 tint is barely darker than the stock that was on it.

50?!? where do you live? that sucks. i am in GA and ours is 35 (32). I got 20 and have only been hasseled once in the 2 years i have had it. Although now i am exempt from it bc of my job. Got to love perks!! :secret:

Ino ino...My cars in the dealership at the moment so cant do anything about it. Soon im off to florida for 2 weeks then maybe to the UK for a month :0 no time!!

Got mine done yesterday. As mentioned before, Ohio's law is 50% MAX, but I opted for 35. 50 was just not enough, IMO. Hope I can stear clear of Johnny Law!

well, NJ doesnt allow any tint on side or front windows. Why? Because they are stupid. But guess what! I can tint the rear window and the back passenger windows as dark as possible. Now that makes a lot of sense. I can go 0% out the back window, but cant even have 50% on the driver sides. I am think of just doing the back window at 15%. Do you think it would look stupid to have just the back passenger windows done and leave the fronts clear?

I did my red g8 in just 35, I had an SS impala with 20 and couldn't see to back up, had to roll down my windows to even see thru the mirrors. My 300 had 20 rear and sides and 35 front. Once in a while I like to go out and have a beer and I don't want to get stopped for tint. Thirty five looks perfect on the red.

That looks sharp with tint and wheels. I'm probably going with 20% on the back window and then 35% on the doors. Back window can legally be as dark as you want, sides have to be 35%. Agree that 20% on front windows is trouble at night in terms of visibility.

You go and look at any mini-van and SUV and they have the back windows tinted dark and nothing on the front windows.....doesn't look to bad in my book. I'm sure if you went like 20% on the back and 35% on the rear windows you would be OK.

My personal opinion, you get hasseled less if they can see clearly into your car from the rear. Having darker tint back there does not make officers happy. They like to see # of passengers inside vehicle.

well stupid NJ doesnt care if you put 0% tint on the rear window, but you cant put anything even on the sides. Makes no sense but its NJ so no shocker
