Have you guys managed to take your existing tune and retune with the Roto-Fab intake CAI yet? Interested in some numbers, as I'm sure others are too.

Just got another batch of Roto-Fab intakes in so we've decided to extend this a bit longer!

I just ordered this package along the the flashxpress rental. What's the current wait time for the rental? Also, can the flashxpress also do the security and crank relearn? Or will I still have to take it to someone with a tech ii scanner?

Actually, I called up a little bit ago and got it pretty much all my questions answered.

But I did forget to ask one. It's not mentioned in this thread. I am renting the flashxpress stuff. Will that perform a crank relearn for me, or is it only used to load the ecm/tcm tunes? Or will I have to take my car to the dealer to get that done?

No its only a loader (for now we are working on that part) you can do a Crank relearn with a Tech 2 or our Dashhawk tool.

Hmmmm, maybe I should start renting my new DashHawk. :wink2: I wonder what I did with it???

Yes you sure can, although with the wait list for the FlashXpress system you may want to just order it now so that in a week or two you'll have it.

I made an appointment for the 30th to come there so you guys can do the ECM/TCM tune and install the roto-fab intake. Should i fill the car up with 93 before you guys install the tune?

Yes, we recommend BP/Amoco or Shell 93 for best results.

Looking at the link provided above to the package I'm not seeing anything regarding the TCM part. I understand we can rent a flasher unit for this pat? What's the price/wait time on that and how tough is it to do? What happens if a dealer reflashes it "for" us? Same price second (and third, fourth, etc) time?

Well unfortunately without anymore information like your real name or order # I have no idea who you are. It's best to email or call for order status and we'll be happy to give you a tracking # as all of those have shipped already. I just went back two weeks and all orders around $800 have been shipped but again without any more info I cant tell you specifics.

I placed my order on the evening of May 27th. I received my computer and CAI today and the CAI was shipped directly from Roto-Fab. They've been in touch asking when is a good time to ship the flashXpress. I told them that I'm waiting on my Magnaflow Cat Back to show up, so they will send it when I'm ready to program for the new exhaust. These people are great to work with and I can't say enough about them.

If I was a vendor I would be vary wary of sending anything to a P.O. BOX. I do not understand why you wouldnt want it shipped to where your actually GOING to be on the receiving end....they can ship to any address..business or residential....sounds like BS .esp since the vendor has no record of you being charged....dont post BS on here..

I concur. I love this part of the line "I don't know how to find out any other info." Is that because you never placed the order? I'm getting sick of this type of B.S. as well. If you did order and it did not go through then voice your problem via the phone or email to VMS, don't post it here.

When your order status changes the system automatically dispatches an update email to the address you registered with and you can log in to your account at any time to view your order. If you DO NOT recieve a confirmation email, your order did not complete (the screen should error out if this is the case)

I know this isn't the thread for positive feedback but just wanted to thank Kirk for his help. I had some problems initially with getting the order to go through via the site but got prompt replies to emails / phone calls that got the order through. Delivery was rapid via normal UPS. Everything was well packaged and the deed is done. Thanks again.

I just place an order for the tune and CAI. I received an email thanking me for registering but nothing about an order confirmation. It did not give me an order number or anything afer I completed my order, only a blank screen. Did the order go through? I logged in as RumblingG8 there and my real name is Glenn Harbaugh.

The order crashed, it didnt go through. When you re-enter the order please keep the memo section to a minimum. This is a known bug we are working on, a lengthy memo (even below the max character) crashes the system.

The memo was probably it. I was at 197 words I think. I just reordered it and will call your shop tomorrow with the question I was posing.
