Hey gang, just picked up my IOM GT last night and I have a question.
(oh, and btw, already did the amp tweak mod! :boink:)
Anywhoo, I was at work today and borrowed one of my employee's Ipod to test out the AUX jack.
Worked fine, but noticed that I had to turn the volume up into the 40s range to hear it. On any other source, even 25 is almost too loud!
Any ideas?

Thanks!

had the same issue.I read somewhere that there is a gain control of some sort in the menu(which is only active when the aux is in use)but never noticed it.You do however have to adjust your bass and treble controls as well(while the ipod is in)that will boost volume..i have mine set at bass-5 treble-max

Couple options. First, make sure your speed and DLO curve are set to 0. Second, make sure the volume on the iPod is turned all the way up. This isnt like the old FM transmitters where the volume on the iPod doesnt matter (this was my first mistake, i turned the iPod volume all the way up and it was much louder). Third, as mentioned above, turn the treb to 5, bass to 4 (thats what i do, 6/6, 6/5 it all works, my bass starts bottoming out higher than 4 with the amp tweak though). Fourth and finally, set the iPod's EQ to "Dance" that will crank the bass and treble on the iPod up significantly. I cant hear myself think if its over 40 at this point.

My daughter plug her Ipod in and the volume was low compared to other sources too. She just turned the volume up on the Ipod. Fixed it.
