3 weeks and 8 dealers later I finally got ahold of the G8 GT I've been looking for. She is a Black GT w/ premium and all season tires. Dealer in Dexter MO(about 140 miles sw of STL), Allen Christian Buick Pontiac GMC, got her in on Monday, I called Tuesday, and picked it up Wednesday. Only had 12 miles when I signed the dotted line. Probably the best dealer experience I have ever had.
The car is gorgeous. Those Aussies really know what a rear wheel drive, V8 sedan should look like. First GM car for me ever. Cant wait for the break in period to be over with so I can open her up and listen to that sweet V8. Btw-stock exhaust has to go...it is way to quiet...sounds like a buick when it starts up...not good.
Anyway..thought I would post a message to the board and say Hi along the way. STL G8 GT owner here. Any other STL folks want to get together look up my yahoo group for STL G8s. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/STLG8.
