I just wanted to let everyone know to NOT buy from 'bp3968' on ebay. His 'PONTIAC G8 GT GXP V8 MOBIL 1 ENGINE CHROME OIL CAP' does not fit. The groove on the cap isn't big enough to get over the stopper in the filler tube.

Not only is that a problem, but he will not take it back as a return because I put the sticker that comes with the cap on the cap itself before installing it.

This is very shady business practice, as I bet 90% of the people put the sticker on before they put it on the car, it's just easier that way.

Just wanna try to save a few people a few bucks.

Too bad you already told him that you put the sticker on... you could have pulled it off and stuck it back on paper and sent the oil cap back lol.

Yeah, I figured I'd damage the label tryin to take it off the cap, as I stuck it on there good. So I felt being up front and honest would be best.

Did you buy a cap for a GXP?? Reason I ask is looks like you have a G8 GT and each have different engines and is probably why it doesn't fit.
I can't remember if it was him I got a L76 cap from but I put the cap on first and snugged it down...Then put the sticker on so I was sure the sticker would line up properly...good luck

The cap is supposed to fit a few different models. I think the caps have the same setup in the GT and GXP....except the GXP says Mobil One.

I lined up the grooves on the caps and then put the sticker on.

i unfortuniately put on sticker then screwed it in and have it lined up on an angle.
