This may be another stupid question but like I've said when asking my other stupid questions, I am a noob and am learning. When I start my G8 GT I notice it takes a little bit longer to start up then if say I started it up after maybe 3 or 4 hours or so. Some mornings when I wake up or if I haven't driven it in many hours, the cars doesn't start up quite as fast. Is this normal? Anyone else have this happen to them?

Had a problem with starting my car today. Went to lunch, took about 4 seconds to start. Came back from lunch less than an hour. Car wouldn't start the first time. What is going on????:whine:
When the car was newer, it would start up instantly no matter how long it was since the last time you start it. It is now 2 weeks old.

my car starts first time, every time. no delay. in fact you should only have to turn the key momentarily and let go and the car will crank right up.

you may have a problem. i would give your sales person a call.

Have you checked your "battery charge" level yet? It is in Engineering mode.

You may have a system that is not going into sleep mode and putting a drain on the battery, does it sound like it is straining to start the car?

For others, can you post your charge level that you normally see, mine never seems to get above 90% (always less, and down to 70%).

Don't waste your time with the sales person. Just make an appointment with the service department.

My battery is above half. I'd say 60 to 70 percent. I only have to turn the key once but it takes longer to start. I turned the key after lunch today and it made the starting sound then stopped with no start. I cried for about an hour then tried again and it started up.
