You guys are welcome to join in the NW group! Glad to have you! Lived on Oahu for over three years in the early '90s. Loved the climate, hated the commute! Lived at CG housing in "the crater" and worked onboard ship at Sand Island. Spent more time in Alaska than Hawaii, but the family had a wonderful time of it! Been around the Big Island a few times, but never stepped on solid ground there! HA HA! WELCOME TO THE FORUM!

I went to Maui last month, didn't see a single G8. Maybe I'll see one in Kauai next year? Did I spell that right?

Well, if you get one by next year, I'll look for you when we're on the Big Island. You're right, much more room there. And I'm glad they finally got that road done heading into Kona!
