So my buddy wanted to buy a G8 but he refuses to buy used at all. I went up to the dealership yesterday and asked if they can get any new ones at all rather it be the V6 or V8 models and they said no.

Does anyone else know if there are dealers around where you guys are that have any new ones left at all or are they already all gone?

I already told my buddy that he probably wont be getting one new but at least I tried for him

I just checked Pontiac.com and did a search, there are still G8's around, not many, and may not be close to you, but there are still new ones available...

Yes new G8's are still around but you he better act fast !

There were two a couple days ago and only 1 yesterday at my local dealer...1 mile from me.

They are almost all gone. Dealers I've spoken to feel pretty sure that most will be gone in a day or two with the new incentives.

I bought mine in Dec 23 2009, there were 20 of them available within 100 miles of my zip code. i just checked right now and there are only 14 of them in the same radius. use the Pontiac Web site, then locate a vehicle. maybe your friend won't have to go cross country to locate one close if he's lucky. GXP's were gone when i checked, but i'm fairly happy with the GT.

There was 4 V6 in Jacksonville NC at Moore Buick Pontiac when i drove by yesterday

There are still quite a few left. Go to Pontiac.com as the other members just said, click on "Advanced Search" put in your friend's zip code, then click on 150+ miles, which expands the search to neighboring states. He should surely find one then.

Do a search on eBay. There are several left in Florida and a white GT in Ohio with 68 miles on it.

I know of a TRULY "new" G8 that's still at the dealer in Idaho. It's a Liquid Red G8 GT with two-tone red/black interior. I have all of the info (and pictures) available since I was considering it before I bought my Tjin G8. If anyone wants me to forward them the email, send me a private message.

Just scanned through the delaers I used, and White Bear Lake Superstore in St. Paul looks to have 1 Liquid Red GT left. They had about 6-8 left [in various states of being sold] when I picked mine up on 30 Dec.

I bought mine in Oct 2009 and they traded with another dealership to get it, grated they had to trade another car to get it.

I've heard there are only a handful left nationwide. He really has no choice but to buy used at this point, and you can certainly find them with <5000 miles without problem.

Where is that one at? I'm in Orlando and I am talking to a dealer in Idaho who has one with 117 miles and wants 27 and change. I thought that was a great price, but yours is obviously a grand cheaper.

Ah, Pearson Pontiac. Bought my first Pontiac from them years ago. Good service, better than my local Pontiac dealers here that even sell Cadillac and Buick.

There are still plenty of them for sale with 3-10k miles on them. I got mine are Carsense with 4k miles on it for 24k.

As for buying new- let someone else take the depreciation hit IMO.
