Hey fellas, does anyone in either Austin or San Antonio area know of a shop that works on G8's for tuning purposes? Just curious. From what I've been reading so far, it sounds like it could be a pretty good improvement having the tranny tuned on these cars. Any ideas?

I've done dyno runs there with the Porsche club and they always treated us well and seem like a very competent shop. I believe another member on this board used them to dyno his G8, but I don't know if they did tuning for him.

I found a guy through craigslist that works for a place in Austin. We emailed back and forth a few times and he seemed like a straight up guy as well. He quoted me some really good prices. Their webiste is http://www.reckartperformancetuning.com/Home_Page.php Don't remember the guy's name however.

The Guy's name is Brian Reckart and he owns a C6 Vette. A buddy of mine who is all over the LT1/LS1 seen and deep into modifying cars knows him and his work and vouched for him big time.
