: Buck shipping on G8 Vent Visors @ PFYC.com
Hi everyone. I wanted to let you know that we do offer Vent Visors for the G8 - they had been hidden away on the Grand Prix section for a long time and we didn't realize it, but we have corrected that now (despite not having a G8 specific photo)...and to make a splash, we're shipping them for only a buck for a limited time.
Shipping is only a buck for a limited time!

HunterSwift 01-07-2010, 10:08 AM why do people think those look good at all?
Some people like orange cars. Some people like mullets. Some people think Kate Moss is hot. There are all sorts of different tastes out there.
These are more about functionality than appearance for most people. In some locations it rains a lot, but you might want fresh air. Or maybe you smoke and want to vent the smoke outside. Or maybe you live in the jungles of south Florida and you leave windows cracked so that it isn't 900 degrees inside your G8 when you leave work?
Mike Jung 01-07-2010, 10:14 AM I like them for their functionality.
(Don't mind the dirty car, or the less than idea pic conditions.
Taken with my cell phone when it was raining. After putting my winter shoes on, & driving in the rain.)

mikemaj82 01-07-2010, 12:45 PM I had them on my black G6 coupe, and they actually looked pretty darn good. From the profile view, they made the windows look even shorter in height, giving the car an even sportier look. Painted to match they might look pretty good on the G8.

does this stick to the outside or inside of the window moldings
does this stick to the outside or inside of the window moldings
I believe they adhere to the car itself and not the window moldings.

Instantaneous SMACKDOWN!!! Good one site sponsor!
IIRC it was mentioned that these also help eliminate the in-cabin helicopter effect that happens when the windows are open in our cars, no?

I didn't intend for it to sound like a smackdown...was just trying to show why even though the person thought they were ugly, there were many reasons why other people either don't, or would want to buy them. I personally am not a big fan of stick-ons on any car, but these look stylish to me and I would put them on my G8 if I had one.
I believe they will help with the sound resonance you are talking about.
Rich-n-Texas 01-08-2010, 01:06 PM Point taken.
GorillaNYC 02-13-2010, 02:58 PM Autoventshade ones stick out too much. GTS made a low profile sport one but I think the company went bye bye or something. Those would have been sweet. I had them on every vehicle we owned.
Enginerd 02-13-2010, 10:08 PM They're 99% for smokers, not for looks.
Wonderful product if you live somewhere rainy...and smoke.
PMD G8 02-13-2010, 10:45 PM Lets see here. I don't smoke anymore and I don't drive my car when it's raining.....
On a serious note, good to see one of our sponsors posting up and offering a deal on something.
El Tejano 02-14-2010, 12:53 AM Maybe the clear ones would be less obvious?
hayabusa160 02-14-2010, 09:55 AM they work great at reducing wind noise when the windows are down.
They will add hp,torque, lower et's and you can go faster with improved gas mileage.last but not least higher topend speed . Like henry hudson said "there is an axx for every seat".
