Has the car been to a dealer for any warranty work? Have they said your tune voids the powertrain warranty?

Yes the car has been to the dealer to replace a tire sensor that went bad, and to road force balance the tires to stop the stearing wheel shake.

We will put the car back to the stock tune, through our tuner and put the stock air box and filter back on the car for the sale. This will not void the warranty as far as I know. The Vararam intake will be sold separatly after the sale of the car.

Guys while I do appreciate discussion and helpful knowledge on the G8, my sale thread is not the place to do it. Further discussions need to be taken to PM's or you guys can start your own thread about your discussions. No more hi-jacking my thread.:slap:

ksiu71 - As far as I can tell the balance fixed the steering shake. The price is for the stock tune/air box. If the buyer wants the tune and vararam to stay on the car then we will discuss a price on that as well when there is a serious buyer.

there was a high mileage black one on e bay. 32K miles. the winning bid was 27100. I almost made a bid. But it is just too risky. Being in AZ and not seeing the car in person. It is surprising with only 1827 or so made that the prices are starting to drop. I would make a bid on yours except I have an 09 g8 gt in silver also that I would need to sell. good luck with yours!

heck no! the bad thing about selling now are two fold. recession. also in winter about half the us population is probably not looking for a performance rear wheel drive car. if you can hold out till spring you will probably do better.

Yeah the car will be for sale for a while, we have some time before we need to turn it over though and spring time will be here soon, so I'm sure there will be more interest.
Yeah the recession doesn't help but then that's never stopped people from buying something they really want.

Not familiar with Vararam, will have to research it a bit. But might be interested. But travelling for business for a few weeks now, so cant move on it that fast.
