First Impression was damn, look at that paint job - It's beautiful! I wanted the White Hot color because I thought the SB would be impossible to get. Second thought was now that I have this awesome color, I'll need to get some paint protection and a tint job quick.
As soon as I she pulled up in front of the dealership, I stopped signing the paperwork, stood up, and left the finance office. I then walked directly to it like it because it was calling my name softly. Apparently, it was calling many names because people from different dealerships in the area were walking over just to look at her. After my salesman and I informed people about the car, I got in. Adjusted the seat, mirrors, and started loading my MP3 disks into the dash. Adjusted the stereo to eq off, treble +6, bass +3. DJ Quik and Ludacris on blast, time to get things rolling.
Started the beast up. She is quiet, too quiet for most. Placed her into reverse and gently backed up. Shifted her into drive and gently pulled out into traffic with less than 3 miles on the clock. I've been taking it easy, not too easy, but no WOT yet. In manual mode and under light pressure, she shifts very quickly to get you into 4th (like skipshifting). Not too crazy about this but it helps with MPG. Sport mode is another animal. I think most experienced drivers will want to keep it in sport mode for more spirited driving. Sport mode is also great for cornering and maneuvering threw traffic. Even in sport mode, the car wants to shift out of first ASAP unless your foot is on the floor (I assume, I'll test my theory in about 350 miles). Brakes, so far, seem flawless. Steering response is on track with most top end sport sedans and sport cars. Acceleration (well, for me, there could always be more power), but for the average driver, this car is fast enough to have your friends calling a chiropractor:)
I'm now at 175 miles and all in all, I am in love with my SB GT. I know I couldn't have chosen a better car for the money, period. And this color is killer. I challenge anyone out there to try and find a better car for the buck. You can't, so stop trying. So far I have had 0 problems. I'm one of the most picky people out there, and I really can't find anything wrong with this car (besides the obvious stereo/HVAC combo).
