I'd think you could sell 19" rims on here very quickly to members who have 18's if not then Ebay.

I may buy a set of factory 19's one day. Where are you getting your Axis wheels from?

Previously, a set for sale here went for $500 each (rim and tire - shipped).

I understand that the list price on the stock 19" rim is approx $450 from the dealer.

and considering the stock bridgestone tires on the 19s are dang pricey, the price for a whole set of stock 19s with tires would probably cost more than most after market wheels/tires i would guess...

What if I said if I got the exact cost of the aftermarket wheels and tires I want I would sell my 19's with tires? From my calcs I would need about $2600.00 + shipping I think? Remember they are already mounted and have the factory sensors. This would get me into the set I want. I have about 800 miles on my set at the moment. Just throwing it out there, I would look at offers.

I have $350.00 for any 19 rim and tire. I have no idea why people post dealer prices on these rims. Who goes and buys rims at a dealer anyway. People with 18's will want aftermarket rims just like the people with 19's. I have cash waiting and willing!!!!!!!!

To those inquiring .. .I am deciding to go from the Stock 19's .. .to the Axis Shine in 20x9 Front ... 20 x 10 rear ...

If I can sell them and use the money from the sale to pay for the aftermarket wheels .. .that'd be great...

I just wanna make sure that they can be used all year round. I know you can't have Chrome wheels on in the wintertime ... but I know these aren't chrome. Anyone have anymore info on that ?

Here is why our stock 19's cost so much. It's true the dealers get $450.00 a piece for the wheels, but I get GMS so lets just use that price. One wheel will cost me around $360.00 (probably more), so $1440.00 before tax. Now the Bridgestones are $280.00 from Tirerack unmounted, before tax and without shipping cost. They are $1120.00 without the extra cost then. So even at the lowest prices, after you add in the tax, you are looking at more than $2600.00 and that is without the tires mounted. Now, the dealers will get $450.00 a piece for the wheels and at least the $280.00 for the tires I qouted before plus mounting and balancing (about $25.00 per wheel). So a dealer total is more like $3020.00 before taxes or $755.00 per wheel/tire. I believe the quoted used prices are fair. There does seem to be a market for the stock wheels as well. Just my .02

Possibly, but who really wants to pay retail for factory when you can buy aftermarket for half the price. The only reason most are interested is the fact there is no spare imo. You can probably buy 17"-19" aftermarket and a tire for less than $350.00(just for a spare tire purpose with the same overall height).

I agree with that. There are some that only want factory stuff though. I like aftermarket myself, not so much for the price, but for the styles.

Yep, and I am one of those factory type people but not for the spare. Although, I have seen some sharp aftermarket wheels posted on here from other people that had me thinking!! Exhaust first though!:)

I'm one of those 'factory' type people including for the spare. I gave $500 for a wheel/tire from someone here on the board.

To my way of thinking, it's not a "spare" - it's an "extra wheel"

I ran mine all winter long, left it in the garage when we got snow, I am in VA too. The wider you go with the rears, the less traction your going to get in the wet stuff. 360HP, RWD, and 10" wide rears, you might need another way to work when you get a dusting even. You could always buy another cheap set of 17/18s and throw some snow tires on it for the winter months if your going to need to drive the car in the snow?!?!

Here is the problem with using an aftermarket wheel as a spare:

Many aftermarket wheels are machined with a different lug seat than oem wheels. Thus, you'd probably have to have a different set of lugs just for the spare.

Also, most aftermarket wheels have the center hole bored out wide enough to accommodate a variety of applications. So you'll need to make sure you have a hub centering ring, or you might get a nasty vibration.

If I'm stuck by the side of the road with a flat, I'd rather have a wheel that I can just bolt on and go. If it matches my other wheels, even better!

I guess $500+ should buy you one then.

What is the difference in price buying the car from dealer on 18 vs. 19?

18s are stock, $600 for Sport package that comes with 19s (plus metal pedals and leather steering wheel).

Anyone interested in 19"s with less then 50 miles on the tires, pm me asap as I need to get rid of them. I removed them as soon as I got the car home from the dealership. NO LOWBALLING PLEASE

Or you could just wait 6 months or so, when these start showing up totaled in scrap yards. You'll be able to buy the wheels cheap.

You know, 2 from this car, 1 from that car, so on...
