Just got back a few hours ago from picking my new/used 08 G8 GT.:)

Flew to Sacramento & drove it back to L.A.(384 miles). I never saw the car in person before the purchase, but the car looks much better in person & it drives like nothing else that I've had. This truly is a fun car to drive!

The drive took us about 5 long, but very pleasant hours. The info center said we averaged 76 mph the whole way.

I was riding a lil heavy do to my 230+ lbs. friend, 5 rims & tires, a full tank of gas & my self in the car. Even with all that weight the car felt smooth & powerful! Just pressed on the gas & I was easily doing 110mph:).

I got a compliment from a guy at the first gas station I stopped at, which was 1 mile from the previous owners house. He said "what kind of car is that?, it looks mean!" I said "pontiac G8" he said "a what!?" lol... Its too bad more people don't know about these cars.

I did see a Liquid red G8 GT going down Imperial Hwy a few days ago. Don't really see many G8s here. Hope to see you around town.

Ahh, so you are the lucky guy who got that car! Hell of deal IMO. Looks a lot like mine. Did the drone of the Magnaflows bother you any? If so you could try some 27 to 28" J pipes and that should take care of it.

MORRIS :Yes I'm the lucky guy that got that car :) I agree it was a good deal. I would have bought one & done the same mods anyway. The car really looks way better in person than in the pics. It's like brand new, not a scratch or ding on it.

The drone did'nt seem that bad to me, I guess I'm used to it.

BUICKGN: I'm going to be selling T-Type pretty soon. Know anyone interrested? It has 32,000 original miles.

I'll be changing my sig when I have more time :)

They're having the street legal drags. Pay $20 bucks and you can drag race your car. I've pretty much taken every car I've had, ow I got to test this one.:driving:
