Hi,

Does anyone know what PEP (GM Company Cars) 2009 GTs are going for at auction currently.

I am interested in one such GT (12k miles/no options) and want to figure out how much room the GM dealer has as the car was bought at auction last month.

Ask to see what they paid.

Typically dealers mark those cars the same way they do used. Anywhere from 2,500 to 4,500 mark up. If it is GM certified that will add even more. Start by offering 4,000 less than asking and see where it goes. Make sure you are ready to pull the trigger.

I just Bought what i believe is a PEP the title was from michigan registered to GM no persons name.
I paid what I think was a great price of 23495.00 if that helps?

I'm kicking myself as I had a chance to pick up a brand new GT for $25.5k a little while back (in Stryker Blue, no less) but some things came up and I pushed it off and now all the new GTs are gone. The used one I am considering is listed at $25k with 12k miles. I wonder how well these PIP cars are maintained.

I paid 24,500 for a gt with 12k, loaded no sunroof. But that was in CO. I noticed were priced slightly higher out here.

I was just watching a MGM one on ebay not too long ago. I think it had no more than 15k miles. I cant remember the options it had, it was at least a premium package; those are the only ones I save. I think the bidding went up to 25K even and it didn't make the reserve.

09's, A=auto, O=overdrive (just depends who entered the vehicle into the system, obviously all G8 GT's had the same trans), YES= In Sample, this is used to determine avg. price.

Thanks. I think it would be interesting to set up a listing of what cars actually sold for, no trade, so there's no overallowance to take into consideration. And both '09s and '08s.

One thing I'm concerned about is what happens if some idiot plows into my '08 [730 of 888, 14,000 miles] and I get into a peeing contest with their insurance company. How do I show that my estimate of value is better than theirs?

It took me a half year to settle when my 96 z28 conv. with ~8000 miles got totalled in Oct. 2000. They kept wanting to give me blue book for it. I finally found one for sale with similar mielage and they imediately settled. Waiting got me about 5 grand more then they were offering.

I see you got your GXP. Awesome man congrats. No roof? What color did you end up with?

I paid $25K for my 09 GT with Premium, Sport and Sunroof.
I was certified so I have a 4yr/48,000 warranty.
