: What are everyone's plans for the spring?
Hangtime204 02-09-2010, 12:04 PM This is more or less directed at MB owned G8's... but is open to cross-country. What's everyone got in store?! Show and go mods are welcome :driving:
-I ordered MT ET streets on 17" c6 z06 replica wheels for the track.
-PI 2600 single disc TC
-BP CC
-BMR trailing arms, and adjustable toe rods.
-BMR Rear cradle, diff, control arm, and trailing arm bushings
And depending on how much I get back from taxes, and when I go back to school, I should be ordering a new gearset - 3.70s.

Maybe... We'll see how it works out. It's a pretty big "maybe".

Walter 02-09-2010, 01:13 PM getting the summer wheel/tire setup on, and hardcore detailing
TryMe 02-09-2010, 03:11 PM Just got my tailights re-tinted (now they look just like yours Kevin), I just finished painting my grille surrounds flat black and I have a sharkfin waiting to be installed. Also installed the red/onyx seats I scored when my brother traded his GT in....
The car is coming out of storage tomorrow to get some paint work done. Doing matte grey on the hood ( Firehawk style) and rear spoiler. While it's in the bodyshop I'll install Holden black window trim mouldings that I ordered in the fall.
I also am 7th in line for the front lip spoiler that is being produced as we speak.... so that will go on in the next month hopefully.
I'm on the lookout for some ET Streets. Where did you grab yours Kevin?
As for performance mods, I did a bunch last year and was hoping to do a bit more but depends how big of an income tax refund I get. Just found out my dog has a torn ACL which is not going to be cheap to fix :(
Knickle 02-09-2010, 05:28 PM Possibilities for me consist of:
- Vararam or similar intake
- Solo exhaust
The mod bug might take a back seat to home renovations. We'll see how things go as Spring approaches. Hopefully I'll come to my senses by then. :burnout:

Right on, with what you're doing exterior wise, it should look awesome. I ordered my MTs through work. Got them from Total Performance. You might wanna check out what Phil has to say from FastToysPerformance...
Sorry to hear about ur dog - my last dog tore both his ACL's _ mom and dad said they were $1000+ ea. to fix.

I agree. Last year was G8. This year is back to the Solstice. I might finish with Rotofab intake. But thats a maybe..
But the Solstice hasn't been touched too much since the year before.

Our priorities are to have the maximum power to get the most out of the driving conditions. Being warm and cosy in winter getting the ultimate driving experience :cool:and enjoying the warm and cosy summer elements with the most fun driving experience.:D
NightwingIII 02-11-2010, 09:57 PM I told the wife it was a family car. She was with me until she saw the 6.0L in the brochure. LOL Did I forget to tell you she knows enough about cars that after that I was in trouble LOL :P
We then agreed it would at the very least get the kids to school fast.

tweeedle 02-28-2010, 06:03 PM - Sharkfin antenna
- Get all the crap from winter off the undercarriage / wheel wells
- Detailing
- Raise the front bumper a bit to close the hood gap. A family of gypsies could live in that gap.
