OK, i have been to the dealership, contacted onstar, and pontiac and have not been able to find answers. MAybe someone can help... Where are the 11 speakers in the G8?

Seriously??? Center speaker in the dash above the radio, front door speakers(I believe coaxes so they're counting them as 4 speakers), rear doors(same coaxes as the front I believe) and two 8" subs in the rear deck. There's your 11 speakers. I noticed what appears to be small speaker grills at the base of the windshield pillars, I'm not sure if those are tweeters or if they're something else.

1 center speaker in the dash
2 in the front doors (dual cone, counted as 1 speaker each)
4 in the rear doors - coax, so they count the tweeter as a seperate speaker, which is a little bs
2 rear subs

can you put 2-ways in the front doors? or is there a X-Over that sends the high notes to the tweets? If you could, it would make it a 13 speaker system....:biggrin2:

Hmmm, are the 11 speakers some option or standard? I have the GT sport package, but when i go into the radio to adjust the Bass, they are locked and can't be adjusted. Am i missing something....like the option for 11 speakers? Or is the sub an additional aption?

You have to turn off the preset EQ and change it to manual then you can adjust the treble and bass. There isn't a specific sub setting. I believe the 11 speaker system is standard in the GT. I know there's a different radio without the screen but I'm not sure how many speakers it has.

Oh and what about the LEDs in the center console, the ones that tell you the oil life and Batt volts, how do you make that annoying light go away or make it do something else??

Other than black tape (or similar) the volt/oil thing is alway in your face.

Hmmm, sounds like i'll be in the market for a tri-gauge pod stuffed in that cavity
