Well after putting about 15,000 miles on my Eibach springs I think it's time to upgrade to all new coilovers. The springs are ok, but I want something that will reduce body roll in the corners and offer a better ride. Are there any options besides kits from TEIN and Pedders? Also, will there be any issues using a GT kit?

I would post this in the suspension section, but I don't think I would get any responses besides "buy a GT". :boink:

Yeah, they do seem like the better choice. I just find it suprising with the abundance of GT parts, theres only two companies producing coilovers. Shenanigans!!

Technically, the V6 and GT share the FE2 suspension, so I guess GT and V6 parts are the same.

I read somewhere that you could use the GT springs on a V6 but you might not get the same drop in the front due to the engine weight, also FYI the GT and V6 are said to wiegh the same. Since you're looking towards coilovers i wouldnt see where there would be a problem.

I also heard that the V6 and GT share the FE2 suspension and the GXP has the FE3 suspension. If you are interested in something like Pedders. Call to see if their compatible.

They say they will fit, I'm just going to order the TEIN kit. Worst case senario I can always send them back if something doesn't work.

As stated the GT and V6 have the same suspension package (FE2). The coil springs may have different rates due to the differences in weight of the engine block but I doubt it.

You should be able to use any G8 suspension parts on any models. They are the same car, the only major difference is the drive train (engine, trans and rear).
