For all the people out there who bought the VMS tune with the new ecm, how long did it take after you placed the order for it to ship? I placed mine last Friday on the website and it still says pending...

If you order just the ECM tune with the new ECM it normally ships within 24-48 BUSINESS hours IE if you ordered friday night that period would begin Monday morning. If you ordered the FlashXpress system you are placed on the list and as soon as the flashxpress system arrives back from another user it will be shipped to you. If you have any questions about the current status of your order (or anything else) please call us or email us via our website.

Does the tune require premium fuel or can you still run it with regular? meaning, if i put premium in i get 20hp but if I put regular, i only get 10. just curious as I am more interested in achieving better MPG then getting more HP. Can you guys do a tune just for more MPG without sacraficing peformance?

You can run regular you'll just get horrid mileage. The tune offsets the cost in fuel, you'll get BETTER mileage and save money by going to premium with the tune.

We'd be happy to tune your G8 however we only primarily do GM vehicles unless they have aftermarket EFI systems.

Why would you get worse gas mileage running regular? I'm curious about what part of the tune would cause that. It couldn't be any worse than stock right?

My thought is it would have to run super rich in order to make up the timing table set for the 93 octane. Which would in turn make worse mileage.
