Had the G8 in my shop on the weekend for an oil change and noticed a couple of leaks starting to occur.At the transmission cooler line going into the tranny(just an O-ring I take it)and the right side of the timing chain cover is starting to leak oil.Still under warranty but still,at that low of mileage?WTF!?I should of cleaned it off and kept an eye on it but I forgot.Anyone else have these issues?

None so far and I'm sitting at 12,800. So I'll keep an eye on it and see if I notice anything.

20,066 and no leaks as far as I've observed.

Mine started leaking at about 5000 miles shortly after my first oil change...I drove it for another 5 miles before finally taking it in to get fixed. Two days in the shop to replace the usual rear plate and gasket and I was good to go. The day after I picked it up I dropped it off at Haddad Motorsports and had my maggie installed :pir_flag:

Had the trans pan leak at about 6000 miles,an the belts not in line with the pulleys at 2000 miles

I ran my finger along the side of the cover where it silicones on and it was wet enough to the point where the oil would run down my finger.I cleaned it all off 2 weeks ago and so far no sign of it leaking......yet.

If it's near a bolt try giving it a turn. My GTO did that with little miles, I just tighten the bolt and it fixed it. If you got a O-ring problem, I would get it fixed, they hardly fix themselves. Sometimes they leak from temperture changes.

My dealerships 27 point inspection came up with a leak behind the engine. I have about 20,000 on my 09 gxp. I have to bring it in for further inspecting. Let you guys know.

Got it repaired " rear main carrier plate and seal ruptured"
