ok, so i was looking at K and N air intake, Looks pretty basic to me. I was wondering if someone looked at the K and N air intake and knew what size they used and what parts and see how much we would save off making one our self? I hope I Dont sound like a re re but just a cheaper way then spending 300$ and I like a challenge ha. But once again any help would be awesome thanks guys.

I know others have done the yella terra tube with their own filter and had decent results. IMO chances are that if your building it yourself it wont look as clean and neat as a purchased one. There are some funky spots to bolt the intake down that would not be easy to mock up in a self made cai.

I had a pieced together intake using Spectre parts and it worked decent, but I never did like the looks of it. One day I came across a great deal on a used Volant intake, and I'm so much happier with it. Not only does it work well, it looks great compared to the cheap one I had before.
