Has anyone smoked the amber/yellow side markers on the front fenders of the front bumper? The lens right past the front wheels. I am thinkin of doing mine but I would like to see some first. Also, if you could explain how you did it that would greatly help. No idea how to use nightshade. Please someone post up some pics of your smoked side front markers. Thank you!

Nightshades isn't really difficult to use and you can achieve good results with it. I first wetsand whatever I'm painting with 2000 grit, use a plastic polish to shine them back up a bit and then spray on the VHT in light coats since it gets dark quickly. I then wait for it to dry, do a light wetsand again, then finish with some clear paint to make it shine. Last final quick sand and polish and they are done. Longest process is dry time and I did my rear corner lights on my TA like this.

This was the first time I've used tinted vinyl to tint a marker/light in this fasion, and so far I am very satisfied with the results :)

I think it looks awesome and def want that done. I think the headlights may look good in a darker shade. not black ,but slighty smoked

Very cool. I think I'll suggest this to the husband later. Not sure how it would look on the MGM though.

I haven't been on here since 07...wow it's been a while. Personally, I like the look of color matched and it shouldn't cost more than a bill to do. Tinted can look ok on black, but stands out on other colors.
