Hi all,
Below is what we posted on the GTO and Corvette forums.
We would love nothing more than many of you showing up and increasing the number of Pontiacs at this event!
Please feel free to PM me with any questions that you might not want to ask here.
I assume that I will see G8 Joe there...??????
Well, it's been 6 months since our last Hooters GTG in Dublin and 5 months since our last Hooters GTG in Fremont so, we are going to do a Hooters run to BOTH locations!
This idea came about after the last Hooters GTG in Fremont back in January. About 6 of us heading back up 680 North stopped at Hooters in Dublin on our way home. We heard complaints afterward that we didn't tell anyone that we were making another Hooters stop so, we thought that a 2 stop event would be cool the next time around.
I have a confirmation from Hooters that we are welcome on Saturday, May 31st, 2008. The event will start at 11 AM in Dublin, CA and then we will cruise to Hooters in Fremont, CA around 1 or 2 PM.
Hooters of Dublin will rope off parking for all of us again, just like in the past. I did not request that Hooters of Fremont rope off parking since they have a much larger parking lot than Dublin does. If we are concerned about parking in Fremont, we can make that request.
Like last time, the only thing Hooters asked of us was to try to give them a head count of our total group. They want to make sure that they have enough tables available and enough girls working to offer us the service that we would expect. I have a confirmation from some people already but if you are going to make it, please let me know so that I can let the managers know.
We have invited our Corvette friends again and will invite some other GM makes like the last Hooters, Dublin event which also had the CTS-V guys.
Here are the addresses and phone numbers:
Hooters of Dublin
7944 Dublin Blvd.
Dublin, CA 94568
925-829-9468
Hooters of Fremont
3340 Mowry Avenue
Fremont, CA 94538
(510) 797-9464
This will be the first BIG GTG of the summer. I hope to see a lot of you out there!
