I purchased a pair of crystal clear side markers on Friday and the package arrived on Monday afternoon. My satisfaction ends here.

1. The side marker housing is not a factory piece and the quality of the plastic is poor.

2. In theory, the bulb assembly should push in and twist to secure like the factory side marker. However, I had to use electrical tape to secure the bulb assembly to the side marker housing.

3. The fitment was tight; Too tight! Furthermore, one vertical edge of the side marker was clearly recessed further than the other.

4. The color of the supplied bulbs does not match the factory turn signals at all.

5. As a result of not having a reflector inside the housing, the light disbursement is terrible. I would compare it to removing the shade from your home lamp; The light goes from being focused to very broad.

6. The left side marker had glue(?) or some other product with adhesion properties still visible along the edges that secure the lense cover to the housing.

7. In order to remove the right side marker, I had to break the clip that secures the side marker to the front fascia (See #3).

In closing, I would not recommend this product to anyone. It was a complete waste of money. They look great (Minus the defect described above in #6) but everything else about this product has me wishing I would have never ordered them.

Wish this was posted 4 days ago.
I just ordered a set on Ebay of the clears. I couldn't see me spending another 100 bucks for the Klearz I had before my a$$hole neighbors kids broke one of them on me.
Maybe I should of spend the extra 45 bucks to get them again. That sucks! Well I will be selling them as soon as they come in.
Today or tomorrow.
Thanks for the heads up. I know what to expect now.

I'm sorry to hear about the problems that you having with your side markers. I bought mine from the same person and mine are fine. Maybe you received a bad set. I think you should contact the seller about your problem because I ran into none of the above that you described. Also, I used led bulbs and not the ones supplied. When you installed your markers did you slide the bottom end in first because there is a lip at the bottom iirc. I have pictures of them installed in my album.

Cool I guess its a wait and see when they come in today or tomorrow.
I will let you know how I make out.
Thanks for the heads up about the bottom end in first. The Klearz were so easy to install I was hoping these would be just as easy with similar results.

I bought the Hyper-Bright Amber LED bulbs #194A. They look clear until when off and turn amber when on. I think they were like 10 bucks. You will love them:)

call me silly, but did you contact the seller for a refund or return? it does sound like a shoddy product but maybe you just got a bad set?

Yes, I did. I could have lived with the fitment issue but considering my other complaints, it was just one more complaint to add to the list.

I can't speak about the seller's customer service after these issues because I have no intention of contacting him. The stock amber side markers have never looked so good to me. Haha I'm out $70 but that's just the way it goes.

Caveat emptor. ;)

I was going to pick up a set of these because I think they look better than the Klearz that I have. They look more clear and not gray.

Here are some photos of the clears installed. A couple of the photos are dark because I didn't use the flash. I'm sorry the car was dirty:(

Your side markers look great, Silver Bullet. How was the fitment of the connector to the side marker housing?

They do look great SilverbulletI like them alot. But I would also like to know if there was any fitment issues.
After reading what Dan wrote that's what my biggest concern is. I wouldn't want to use electrical tape to secure my bulbs.

It was the same as stock for me, insert and twist to lock in place.

Excellent!
I just purchased those LED 194A you told me about. I also ordered another set from e bay that were only 7.50. Hopefully they come in today so I can install them.

I didn't need electrical tape to secure my bulbs. They went in just like stock.

I bought the black sidemarkers from him and couldn't be happier. They fit fine and the product was in perfect condition. You really should ask for another pair because those the ones you received were just a bad pair.
