I would like opinions on a car I am looking to purchase. its an 09 silver G8 fully loaded minus sunroof sport package, heated seats, etc. Asking was $28,700 they wont got lower than $26,233k and would give me $4500 for my wifes 04 mazda3 w/ 77K miles good condition w/ the exception of the seats are all pretty stained. What are people opinon I would be walking out at $21,732 for the car it has 1K miles on it.

just re-read my post 1st part little confusing, it dosent have a sunroof but has every other option.

well, your not giving much info - sounds like the trade-in is actually decent (basic mazda3 sedan AT in fair condition is 5k on KBB) , and the price on the G8 is below average nationwide. Go to cargurus.com and look at the g8 gt prices - they'll show you what they have as listings, and whether or not it is a good, fair or poor price based on what G8's are selling nationwide.

For instance, cargurus basically says that G8's are selling for, on average, 26,700 nationwide, so if your car is in good shape and below 15k miles, then both the trade in and the selling price seem fair. All else being equal, it seems like a fair deal.

Thanks for the feedback. They just told me they would give me 5K for the trade in because I had it on craigslist for that price but they neglected to tell me that it would be $379 for the processing fees. So right now I am at $21,601 + they will deliver it to me and the dealer is 3.5hrs away. Think I am going for it! Soon to have Breyton GTS in black on the silver car!

Sounds like a good deal to me. I love my silver G8.

Thats about what I paid for mine last year. seems like a decent deal.

wow, just saw this thread and went to cargurus.com and they have a picture of my G8 that I posted on here, just thought that was kinda cool.

They gave me 5K for the mazda3 so I thought it was a pretty good deal. I live in MA so I had to pay 6.25% sales tax but at least they deduct what they gave me for the mazda. Loving the G8.

I think it was a good deal, congrats! You have good taste in cars and colors. MSM shows off the lines on this car the best. Maybe i'm just being bias. lol

Thanks I really wanted the magnetic grey but this is growing on me! HOw do you like your chip tune and intake? Can you notice a seat of the pants difference? 1st mod I am going to do is the solo exhaust I need to wake this thing up, also going to 35% tint in the next week. Waiting for Tire Rack to get more of the Breyton GTS in black in 19" which will be going on in May when they come in. Other than that I am going to keep it stock so I can continue to put the $ in the GN trying to get 11's out of her this summer. It was my original intention to keep it completely stock and thats already out the window so who knows???

My car moves like a speeding bullet with the intake and tune:driving:. I'm thinking about getting the mach shorty unbalanced exhaust instead of the borla.
