Just thought I'd give everyone a heads-up. I live near Whyte and walk past the lot at South Park Pontiac every day. I spoke with a salesman today after noticing several new G8s on the lot. I've discovered that there are FOUR G8 GTs and at least one more Sedan on the lot, and they sold TWO GTs in the last week. They came into 6, count 'em, SIX GTs! Good depreciation from what I can tell as well, >30,000km and a price of ~$33,000. Not bad! I'll take some photos tomorrow if anyone is interested.

This is true, I semi-regularly see a stryker blue V6 & a silver GT & a MGM V6. My wife has seen a PSM V6 & MGM GT. I have also seen a Black one from afar twice with tinted windows & rear window air delector (not John's), a SRM GT (Camrose sticker), a LRM from afar, White Hot from afar, a PBM without tinted windows & I saw John's car once.

I have a PBM GT with full tint and am in the West End of the city; the stricker blue is close to me as well as another PBM GT and a liquid red. I wonder if some of the new cars on themarket ar the rentals; a friend of mine works for GM and one of the rental companies had purchased 400 G8's which should be close to going on the market....

The G8s are as follows:

2 Liquid Red GT w/ sport package
1 SRM GT
1 PBM GT
1 Liquid Red sedan
1 Silver sedan

There was a lot of ex-rental GT's with 25-35k that have been hitting GMAC Smart Auction since December. At that time they were going for $27-28k, they've since dropped a little. If the dealer is selling these for $33k then they're making good $$...
My brother traded in his 1SD GT last month with 14k and the dealer group I work for just sold it for $33,600 including a set of winter rims & tires.

I guess they've nabbed another Liquid Red GT, with the 18" wheels. The guys on the lot are just IMPOSSIBLE to talk to though...good grief.
