Wednesday: Magnetic Gray driving north on I-75 around 3pm
Thursday: Panther Black driving west on 120 turning onto Jones Bridge around 5:45. Gave him a nice rev, he looked at me like I was crazy :gr_jest:
Friday: Liquid Red heading east on 141 around 7:20.
Today (Saturday): Ignition Orange gave me a couple honks and waved, don't remember where, it's been a long day.

All of them looked like they were GTs with the 19" wheels, and all looked freaking sexy. I'm so jealous of the fender flares on those things.

So if any of those people were you, let me know! I was in the Impulse Blue GTO, except the first one where I was in a lipstick red Mustang rental :barf:

What dealership? There are at least two at the dealer near me, both V6s. One white (looks awesome in white) and one red. I think they have one or two more as well, not sure if they have any GTs.

There are two GT's and one V6 at Hayes (Formally Tabor) Motors in Toccoa. I drooled on the white GT last Sunday and made up my mind, once the final payment is mailed on the GTO I'm buying a white G8 GT. I had narrowed it down to a G37 Coupe, G8 GT, or a 1 series BMW. The G8 wins out after seeing one up close.

Sounds like what I did. I got back from Iraq in April, went home on leave for the entire month of May. First dealership I walked into had almost the exact GT I wanted, but with 18". I drove home with it that same day. You're going to love it. I'm down here at Ft. Stewart, if I see you on the road I'll honk. There's a WH and an MGM on base here, mine is the only PBM.

No that would probably be a guy we refer to as "stickers" he is on the GTO board. Our GTO is a garage queen. It only gets driven about once a month. I have not yet gotten my G8 we have decided on '09 PSM and we are waiting to hear final word on pricing for the GXP and colors. We live in Braselton and I work in L'ville so I am in Hamilton Mill all the time.

I like the PSM, I saw one over at John Bailey BPG in Buford, kinda reminds me of the Barbados blue on the GTO's.

I just bought a 09 Liquid red GT this past weekend from Hilton Head automotive. I'm in a small town called Rincon (just north of Savannah).

I have had my G8 for less than a month and I am purely amazed by it. I have been obssesing since last year when they released the drawing of the G8. I'm in Hinesville GA and I have only seen 3 G8 including mine in town. There is a blue GT I beieve in Savannah. I would only go there to test drive not drive, they treat you very bad.

Yeah Backus is hit or miss with there service. That's the main reason why I went to Hilton Head automotive group. They were very knowledgeable and didn't give me a bunch of BS.

I work at Colonial as a tech and I just wanted to let you guys know that we just got 2 White Hot 2009 G8 GT's in yesterday and slightly hotter that the 08's for some reason... I didnt think they made an changes to the engine or trans or rear but they seem quicker to me. Im just waiting for the GXP's

Thats what I thought also.
I've used Colonial a couple of times for service on my GP and was totally satisfied with it. I bought my G8 from Horton in Monroe because they were the only dealer within 15-20 miles that had a base PBM GT at the time. I have been happy with their service also, but it would be more convienent to use Colonial or John Bailey.

I'm always glad to have customers ask for me, I'm Tim if u ever decide to come in.

i live in Marietta. Only seen two others on the highway. BTW, there's a big meet on the first Thursday of every month at the Varsity downtown. You can usually meet a few G8 owners down there. Last month, there were 5 G8s there.

Saw a bunch of G8s this weekend. Saw a red one and a grey one heading south on 400 coming back from the outlet mall area on Sunday around 11-noon.

I always see that Grey one on 400 in that same spot

Saw a white one on Old Atlanta last night.

Spotted what may have been a Silver GXP or GT with chrome wheels on I-85 heading north around Pleasantdale Rd.

Know of two different Orange GT's in Savannah/Richmond Hill area and a black and red on Ft. Stewart.
Otherwise, Savannah is pretty scarce on GTO/G8's in my experience
