Driving it was like night and day compared with my 2003 VY. Ample power, incredibly quiet and felt like home straight away. My son was straight in the back watching the DVD.

To say I was jealous was an understatement...

It's a sweet looking car.

I hope all the available options in Australia carry over to the US models.

Not for a while unfortunately - 18 months left on my lease and just replaced my wifes car. Definitely a nice drive though.

I reckon a few G8's might be stripped back to the basic body like this - remove the spoilers and skirts in a similar way to what a few GTO guys have done.

I reckon the basic shape is pretty hot, and does not need wings.

My brother has had the car 6 weeks, and no problems at all.
