my G8 GT fully loaded is on the way, and because i live in Canada, the summer performance tires wouldnt make logical sense for 7 months of the year and therefor i am looking for a really good all-season tire for my 19's. if anybody knows of any good ones, your help would be greatly appreciated.
i am currently looking at:
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
Falken Ziex ZE-512
thanks for the help!

With this car, in Canada, I don't think you'll be happy with any all season tires. I had a winter set (Blizzaks) on the GTO and will be ordering a set for the G8. The only way to go if you live in a snow belt area.

Check out TireRack.com. Top five A/S performance tires are Bridgestone, Yokohama, Goodyear, BFG, and Continental. Now all you need to do is find a size to fit your needs among these! Good luck!:wink2:

Had michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires on my grand prix rims (245/45/18s, oddly enough) and they were great wet traction tires. Did OK in snow.
They have a very high treadwear rating (400AA), so they should last quite a fair amount of time past what the RSAs that some of our vehicles come equipped with.
I'm considering selling my old rims and keeping the tires. 2 of them are in great shape, so I could keep those and just buy 2 more michelins to replace the others.
Only thing is, these tires are expensive. I bought them about 5 years ago for $256 a pop. Think they're closer to $260 a pop now.

I had a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons on my E46 325 they were great but I don't see them listed in a 19. I have also had a set of the Goodyear Eagle RS-As on a GrandAm GT. Ran them through 4 Cleveland winters without issue. Replaced them with Bridgestone Turanzas, wife's uncle works for Firestone, they suck and I want the RS-As back.
If xp3nd4bl3 comes through I will be running the standard 18" wheels and GY RS-As as my winter wheels/tires this year.

The RSAs are the OEM tire for G8s with All-Seasons. So far they've been pretty good for me in the wet and dry.
Interested in their snow traction though..
