...for the first time yesterday. It took me by surprise, actually.

I was out for a short drive, going through my favorite series of on-ramps/off ramps, etc., and the transmission actually did a damned good job of upshifting, holding revs, and downshifting into corners on hard braking.

I haven't noticed it being this good before in sport mode, or maybe I just haven't been driving it aggressively enough.

Maybe it's just you.

We took ours to the drags and sport shift was much slower than just leaving it in D...

the sport shift was meant more for track racing, not drag racing...

You know what I think just putting it in sport mode and not shifting by hand gave me the best results. It seems like it actually shifts harder than in drive and manual shifting. The only thing is I have confused transmission by hitting the gas hard and getting out of the gas it made it shifts like out of sync. I don't like shifting by hand there is too much of a delay and the shifts are usually too soft. However I still have not dropped mines off at the dealer for the update(TCM).
