ShouldaHaddaG8 05-27-2008, 12:13 PM looks great, but wow it makes the brakes look small...
Mach 5 05-27-2008, 12:26 PM That's definitely the best looking GT I've seen so far.
locrzng888 05-27-2008, 02:19 PM looks good.
OilfieldSS 05-27-2008, 05:08 PM i dig it.
texaspledge 05-27-2008, 07:43 PM Still loving those wheels. Best yet.
Is there any way you could add a side shot? Trying to find out how tucked (not very hopefully) the rear wheels are. I checked the TM website and see 19x9.5's that I may get if it looks like your 20x8.5's could be out further...
GeoffA 05-27-2008, 08:27 PM Looks tight. I'm lovin it.
How long did it take for them to install it for you?
GeoffA 05-27-2008, 08:56 PM And How much is the Track II system, or is it everything seen HERE (http://wretchedmotorsports.com/index.php?cPath=62_63)
Mr. Sandog 05-27-2008, 11:57 PM Interesting look...kind of an "End of Days" appearance.
How's the ride?
ImpalaSSpeed96 05-27-2008, 11:59 PM Looks great. Gotta get some bigger cross drilled and slotted rotors on there though.
GEE ATE 05-28-2008, 09:43 AM I had the car out for about a week at Rob's place...although I did tell him to keep the car asl long as he needed. I got the 50% off deal from rob because I was the first G8 he did...I would talk to Rob directly about current pricing he may still be running some special. The ride quality is a bit stiffer but still great for every day driving. The G8 REALLY handles now. Thanks for all the compliments.
G8 Ray 05-28-2008, 10:04 AM Ok, so that was your car instead of mine. Great deal. Your car looks awesome.
ToneyTone 05-28-2008, 11:19 AM That drop looks perfect and the wheels compliment the car color.
glugo1001 05-28-2008, 12:10 PM Looks awesome, but WOW is it low! Too low for me, I think. Is there a Pedders system that doesn't drop the car so much?
G8 Ray 05-28-2008, 02:28 PM I think a lower angle on the camera will give a better perspective.
unixadm 05-28-2008, 10:32 PM Well I just ordered mine from Tire Rack. 20" Breyton Race GTS in Grey, along with Sumitomo HTR Z III 245/35/20's. My car goes in on Friday for clear mask and tint, but I'll be keeping the stock ride height for now.
Oh yeah - your car looks awesome. :)
menace 05-29-2008, 12:31 AM You gotta paint the calipers to break it up a bit. :)
Looks fantastic!
Turbolover 05-29-2008, 09:07 AM Best g8 yet!
Boomer 05-29-2008, 09:17 AM looks awesome! sits perfect! are you going to tint it?
Turbolover - we all like boobies and all, but some of us view this forum from work. you mind taking that avatar down? last thing i need is my boss to walk by and theres a naked chick on my screen...
GTPprix 05-29-2008, 09:19 AM DAMN thats hot!
DragoonRaven 05-29-2008, 11:52 AM I will never get tired of seeing those wheels. The car should have come with them. I do agree that it makes the brakes look teeny tiny however.
Now, I would like to see them on non-MGM cars...
Tonkadad 05-29-2008, 01:00 PM OP what size rims and tires do you have? I know there are 20's but what about width.
unixadm 05-29-2008, 01:13 PM OP what size rims and tires do you have? I know there are 20's but what about width.
They are 20x8.5, 35MM offset with 245/35/20 tires.
Turbolover 05-29-2008, 03:07 PM They are 20x8.5, 35MM offset with 245/35/20 tires.
Are these the gts-r model? And what is the color? Thanks
unixadm 05-29-2008, 03:46 PM Are these the gts-r model? And what is the color? Thanks
Standard GTS model in Matte Grey. The GTS-R is the race version with a lighter weight, but is only offered in an 18" diameter currently. Breyton may provide a larger 19 and/or 20", but according to Gill at Tirerack that may not be until next spring. That's based on what I read on one of the BMW forums when I was doing my research on these wheels. The GTS-R would be the preference if weight is a concern due to the different design of the back of the spokes. However I'm personally not a fan of the red line they have, and the 18" didn't give me the look I was going after. The OP "Gee Ate" found these wheels, and I am copying him directly. I was hooked the day I saw those wheels.
glugo1001 05-29-2008, 06:31 PM GEE ATE, any chance you could take a shot of your car at about this angle?

I'd like to get a better idea of the depth of the wheel and how close it sits to the fender edge. Thanks! Looks awesome, btw!
